Niederau-Oberau

With their historic and picturesque farmhouses, these traditional villages nestle in one of Tyrol’s loveliest valleys, the wild and beautiful Wildschönau. Niederau is the first and largest resort in the valley and Oberau, only 3 km away, is a smaller village comprising a magnificent church and fine old buildings. With long, interesting runs through attractive terrain, the main skiing takes place in Niederau via the Markbachjoch gondola or the Lanerköpfl. Après ski and evening entertainment is lively and varied with something to suit all tastes, whether it is a fondue evening, moonlight sleigh ride or dancing at one of the local nightspots or bars.
