Pamporovo lies amidst vast pine forests in the Rhodope Mountains, and with 270 days of sunshine each year, it is the sunniest ski resort in Europe. Surrounded by spectacular scenery, the resort is situated at the foot of the Snezhanka Mountain, a rounded peak from which all pistes descend. This upgraded ski area, which is reached by a free ski bus from the centre of resort, is ideal for beginners and intermediates, though the resort’s Giant Slalom and steep mogulled “wall” will certainly test the most able skiers. An excellent choice of accommodation is available in Pamporovo, ranging from brand new to recently refurbished properties and offering all modern comforts at affordable prices. Après-ski in the resort is lively and the “Bulgarian Evening” provides traditional dancing and fun!
