Fernie Alpine Resort ski area lies below a long sickle shaped ridge, just four miles from the town of Fernie, in the midst of the rugged peaks of B.C.’s Rockies. An historic mining town with friendly and laid back locals, Fernie has a reputation for excellent snow records, numerous powder bowls, trees and few crowds allowing you maximum skiing time. It’s a boarders paradise with high peaks, ‘steep and deep’ terrain, and spectacular scenery. Not surprisingly Fernie has now established itself as a firm favourite with British skiers looking for exciting and challenging skiing in Canada. Real powder hounds should try the local snow cat skiing. The evening shuttle makes it is easy to explore the lively bars, restaurants and shops both in the Alpine Village and on historic Second Avenue in downtown Fernie.

What’s Included?
Transfers to and from Fernie (15 mins.), lunch, snowcat transport, up to 10 runs (depending on conditions), qualified guide and safety briefing. Minimum ability level is intermediate skier or boarder. Fat skis can be hired locally at an extra charge.
Insurance & General Information
All clients are required to sign a release of claims and liability and acceptance of risk form. Clients who have taken Inghams insurance are automatically insured for snow cat skiing. Those insured under other policies should check with the issuer that they have sufficient cover. Snowcat skiing operates according to local weather conditions and snow conditions will vary according to the time of year. You will be advised of your planned day after arrival. Specific days cannot be guaranteed.
