Sestriere

Superbly positioned at the heart of the Milky Way’s 400km of pistes, Sestriere is the highest and most snowsure resort in this area. The already extensive lift system was further improved for the 2006 Winter Olympics with new uphill capacity in Sestriere, Sauze and Sansicario. All our Sestriere accommodation is now just a short walk from a gondola or chairlift. Intermediates enjoy the chance to ski long distances and ski to adjacent resorts. The more expert can try the Olympic slalom run down to Borgata. We also feature excellent accommodation in Sestriere Borgata, a quieter alpine village 4km from Sestriere, which is centrally located for easy access to the slopes of Sestriere and Sauze d’Oulx. The ski pass now includes 1 day’s skiing in Montgenèvre, France.
