Poiana Brasov

Set amidst beautiful pine forests in the Carpathian mountains, Poiana Brasov is the perfect resort for beginners and intermediates. Wide pistes alternate with pine woods up on the mountain and the well-appointed hotels offer warmth and hospitality. The ski area is compact and scenic and a new eight-seater gondola has now expanded and upgraded the lift system. Nightlife is varied and informal and there is an excellent range of excursions. Or visit the atmospheric city of Brasov with its pubs and cellar bars just 20 minutes away - and a visit to Bran Castle, home to the legendary Count Dracula, is a must!
