Kandersteg is an attractive village surrounded by wonderful mountain scenery, which has preserved its original Swiss character, and enchants visitors with its relaxed and friendly atmosphere. The skiing is ideal for complete beginners or for second year skiers wanting easy skiing at a gentle pace, and the cross-country trails are superb.
