The world-famous resort of St. Moritz lies on a sunny terrace of the beautiful Engadine valley. This chic and vibrant town, second home to the rich and famous, has a high quality ski area with extensive skiing. Corviglia is best for beginners with some good easy runs, but it’s the intermediate skiers who’ll be able to fully take advantage of the ski area - Corviglia and Corvatsch offer plenty of reds on which to hone skills and there are some challenging black runs on Diavolezza and Lagalb. For non-skiers, there’s a wide array of activities including cross-country (miles of scenic tracks), tobogganing and winter walks. The frozen lake hosts many sporting and social events, including the Cartier Polo on Snow and ‘White Turf’ horse-racing.
