Baggage & Skis/Snowboards

Due to weight and volume restrictions, the airlines we use impose the following baggage allowances per person. Please note that airlines will charge for excess baggage.

Scheduled flights: 20 kilos (44lbs) including ski boots on most flights; 30 kilos (66lbs), including skis, on Swiss Business Class and British Airways Club Class; 2 pieces of luggage, including skis, on flights to USA and Canada.

Charter flights: 20 kilos (44lbs) on most airlines, except Tyroleon which is 18 kilos.

Ski and Snowboard Carriage

The number of skis or snowboards we can carry is strictly limited on charter flights. If you have your own equipment you should therefore pre-book ski/snowboard carriage to ensure space is reserved for them. We charge £15 return per set of skis or snowboard.
Please confirm at time of booking the number of skis to be carried. This charge will be added to your invoice and shown on your ticket. Ski/snowboard carriage can be purchased at the airport for £20 from our Inghams representative, though this is subject to space available. Should your skis not arrive on your flight, they will be forwarded to you in your resort at no extra cost and the charge refunded.
