LIFT PASS
Local area pass covers Oeschinen and Sunnbüel. Whole area pass also covers Lauchernalp ski area in nearby Lötschental valley approx. 45 mins by train/bus from Kandersteg - incl. in lift pass. Child: 6 - 15 yrs. Under 6yrs go free on the lifts. 16 - 24yrs: book in resort for reduced lift pass prices. Photo not required. Oeschinen lifts expected to close mid March.Cross-country skiers may require lift pass for access to higher trails (approx Sfr30 per week - book in resort).
EQUIPMENT HIRE
Child = 7-14 yrs incl. *Superior skis & snowboard are interchangeable. ** Superior boots & snowboard boots are interchangeable (adults only - once per week). Cross-country ski & boot sets: ‘Classic’ is recommended for beginners. ‘Skating’ is a more advanced style, with shorter skis and more rigid boots.<\c>
TUITION
Child ski = 4 - 12yrs incl. Child board & cross-country = 6 - 12 yrs. Mon - Fri, 10 - 12 noon (lessons may also take place from 2 - 4pm in high season).

NB. Learn to Ski packages are only available
to complete beginners (except in Arinsal where
they are available to all ability levels) and
must be pre-booked in the UK. Clients who have
had a few dry ski lessons are no longer regarded
as complete beginners by ski schools. Non-beginners
will be refused on the course and no refunds
will be given. The minimum age for children
to join ski school varies from resort to resort.
Children cannot be booked onto adult packages.
Important
Pre-bookable items cannot be added or changed within 14 days of departure for European destinations (21 days for North American holidays).
