Social Media Executive

Inghams is looking for a Social Media Executive to join their Digital Marketing team. You will be responsible for delivering online marketing campaigns in response to tactical need, social marketing campaigns to drive awareness and reach of the channel, Online PR and SEO.

Location: Based in the Company’s Mountain House office in Godalming

Working hours: Full time, permanent role.

Reporting to: Digital Marketing Manager

Direct reports: None


  • Working with the Digital Marketing Manager to set and deliver the B2C social media strategy including content, engagement and acquisition.
  • Managing the content strategy for the social channels including the Inghams blog.
  • Delivering engaging content via the appropriate social media channels and champion internally.
  • Utilising social media channels to respond to tactical requirements of the business such as promotional offers.
  • Working with Guest Services to respond to operational and guest queries in a timely manner.
  • Managing the resort content submission processes with I.T. and building relationships overseas to encourage regular content such as resort
    blogs and photos.
  • Making recommendations for social integration into all marketing activity, online and offline.
  • Working with the SEO agency to ensure all online PR opportunities are highlighted to the appropriate personnel within the business and
    managed through to delivery. Work closely with offline PR.
  • Supporting the Digital Team with various projects and work with them on the inception and development of creative ideas and concepts for
    individual campaigns.
  • Focussing on optimising the customer experience as well as a commercial and sales driven approach.
  • Creating and sourcing content for the website to build community engagement and drive traffic.
  • Reporting on performance of all social media channels and implementing strategic change as necessary to optimise performance.
  • Social media monitoring, identify key themes and trends using Pulsar and react appropriately.

Essential Skills & Experience:

  • Must be a personal consumer of all relevant types of social media.
  • Must have demonstrable knowledge of ski/snowboarding.
  • Travel industry experience.
  • Creative, articulate and engaging copywriting skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Excellent command of the English language.
  • Excellent organisational skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.

Content Marketing Executive

Inghams is looking for a Content Marketing Executive to join their Digital Marketing team. You will be responsible for researching appropriate content, sourcing and managing content writers and editing and copywriting for both online and offline mediums.

Reporting to: Digital Marketing Manager

Location: Based in Mountain House office, Godalming

Working hours: Full-time, 12-month temporary contract. Normally 9.00-5.30pm / 9.30-6.00pm, but the role also involves working outside normal office hours as busy periods may require.

  • Work across teams to deliver useful, entertaining and/or interesting evergreen content that is easily accessible to the audience and delivers on the changing nature of the search environment, seasonality and tactical requirements of the business.
  • Develop strong relationships with the Product Management team to enhance content creation.
  • Work with the CRM Manager to understand the audience to develop engaging content strategies and plans that put the user at the heart of the process.
  • Work with the SEO agency and Social Media Executive to deliver content required for SEO/SEM strategies and social media reach.
  • Utilise industry tools and practices to research and identify content gaps and opportunities.
  • Identify, recruit, manage and develop relationships with appropriate content writers.
  • Work with the Digital Marketing Team to enhance the Inghams website to appropriately reflect the content being created. Make recommendations where appropriate, including UX in relation to customer journeys.
  • Be aware of and take account of the commercial priorities within the business and prioritise content creation appropriately.
  • Work with the designer/creative agency to deliver innovative content pieces, constantly striving to establish Inghams as an expert in its marketplace.
  • Use tools such as Google Analytics to analyse the performance of creative/content outputs and apply the insight gained to constantly refine and evolve content and content strategies.
  • Define the KPI’s for the content created and report on its influence within the business at determined intervals.
  • Be willing to support other Hotelplan brands if/when agreed by the Group Head of Digital Marketing.

Essential Skills:

  • Content Management System experience
  • Demonstrable innovative content generation
  • Must be a personal consumer of social media
  • Must have demonstrable knowledge of ski/snowboarding
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, plus good organisational skills, with strong attention to detail
  • Excellent command of the English language, both spoken and written. (Applicants will be required to complete a copywriting task)

Reservations Support Executive

We are looking for someone to join our fast paced team delivering excellent service to our guests after they have booked their holiday and prior to travelling.  Working as part of a larger team we are looking for someone who is able to use their initiative to deliver an amazing guest experience.

You will be required to work with many departments to resolve customer issues, making additions to bookings, working with both our travel agent partners and direct guests.

The role is predominantly a telephony based role with some administration activities.

We are looking for a flexible colleague who is willing to go the extra mile for our guests.  Is able to take ownership of any enquiry and be committed to see it through to satisfaction.  We are looking for someone with previous Customer Service experience, able to work under pressure and is adaptable to change. You will need to have strong communication skills and a keen eye for detail.  A self-motivated, team player that is able to manage their workload is also key. 

Being a keen skier/traveller is desirable and a good knowledge of our brands will be a strong advantage.
