Chalet Hotel Le Savoie

  • This winter welcomes a new Chalet Hotel in the very heart of Val d’Isère, thanks to the opening of the ‘5-diamond Platinum’ rated Chalet Hotel Le Savoie.

    Located on Val d’Isère’s central main street, it is a 3-minute walk to the main Solaise and Olympique ski-lifts to access both sides of the vast Espace Killy ski area.

    Le Savoie will be on sale for Winter 2015/16 from 8th July, and skiers can reserve their holiday through any of the three sister companies, Inghams, Ski Total or family ski specialist, Esprit. “This is a uniquely special property, in a prime location, in arguably the UK’s favourite ski resort” explained Group CEO, Andy Perrin, “so for once we have broken from the tradition of Chalet Hotels being exclusively available through one company only, as we know we will have many loyal Inghams, Esprit and Ski Total guests all keen to secure our ‘top of the range’ Val d’Isère accommodation.”

    The Chalet Hotel sleeps up to 87 people, in a choice of spacious bedrooms and suites, all with en suite bath and separate wc, satellite TV, complimentary bathrobes and slippers, and many with balconies. The cleverly designed layout enables many suites and rooms to be combined if so desired, to create spacious, self-contained ‘super-suites’ sleeping up to 12 guests.

    The property offers its own in-house ski-rental service, and boasts a spa area with indoor pool, two whirlpools, two saunas and a steam room all free of charge, and a range of beauty treatments and massages, payable locally.

    A substantial ‘skiers’ breakfast’ starts each day with a choice of cooked and continental options, and there is a daily afternoon tea buffet, with a selection of cakes and savouries laid on, to welcome guests ‘home’ from the slopes. 6 nights a week, there are 5-course evening meals, with a wider than normal choice of menu and flexible dining times, including a pre-dinner apéritif, a choice of complimentary wines, and tea/coffee and chocolates to follow.

    Departures are on Sundays throughout the winter season, with prices ranging from £999 per person in April 2016 to £1,995 on peak dates, including return flights from 9 local UK airports, return transfers, and 7 nights catered accommodation.
