For anyone seeking an adventurous team day out, canyoning is the perfect activity. Whether you are sliding, jumping or climbing through waterfalls or gorges caved out of the river it will be a great experience for all (price £52 per person). From the ground to the air the best way to see the breathtaking beauty in Belle Plagne is by paragliding. This is a great activity to take a thrilling flight over the beautiful scenery of La Plagne (cost £52 per person).
Other activities in and around Belle Plagne include: 15 mountain bike trails, forest adventure course and zipwire, volleyball, rock climbing with an instructor, basketball, circus skills (for children), tennis, archery, mini golf and an open-air swimming pool.
The numerous walks available in Belle Plagne are easily accessible from Chalet Hotel des Deux Domaines by foot or by the Roche de Mio cable-car. On the well signposted paths there are lakes, streams as well as incredible viewing points including those over Mont Blanc, Europe’s highest peak.

Bridge- guests can experience more with Inghams through our bridge evenings. This is very popular activity where guests can master the skill of Bridge from our expert Bridge Union instructors Margaret and Phillip Thomas. The guests’ skills are then put to the test in a bridge competition on the final night. This is a great activity for groups and the chance for everyone to show their competitive nature at the end of the week. This runs from 27th July - 7th August, duration 2 hrs every night for improvers and two, two hour sessions for beginners. Register on arrival. (Free of charge).
Beaufort cheese- On Thursdays guests can discover the meadows and pastures around Belle Plagne with our morning guided walks which includes a visit to a local dairy farm to see to see how the local beaufort cheese is made. (Free of charge).
Cookery demonstration- On Thursday evenings there is a cookery demonstration at the hotel. Here guests learn how to make a traditional dish which the guests can sample later. (Free of charge).
Visit Lake Annecy- On a Friday, guests have the opportunity to take a full day trip to Annecy, the home of France’s third largest lake also known as the ‘Venice of the Alps’ due to the many beautiful canals. Guests have the chance to visit the market, explore the medieval streets and spend time on the shores of the picturesque lakes. (Free of charge).
In search of Edelweiss- this is a half day, botanical themed, guided walk entitled ‘In Search of Edelweiss’, either on Sunday morning or afternoon. The walk lasts about 3 hours with two hours of walking starting and finishing at the hotel. This is followed in the evening by a talk on the local area. This touches on traditions of the Savoie region including the rich cultural life of the region with its long and chequered history from the first human settlement to the development of winter sports and the modern era. Ice Caves- on Monday you could visit the Bellecôte Glacier where there is the chance to try out paragliding or mountain biking or guests can hike up into the Vanoise National park. (Free of charge).
