Inghams launches new 2012/13 Ski & Snowboard brochure

  • Inghams new 2012/13 Ski & Snowboard brochure is launched today. Skiers can choose from 80 snowsure resorts in eight different countries, with holidays to suit all abilities. Following the phenomenal snowfalls of last winter, seven new resorts have been added - Auffach and Neustift in Austria, Les 2 Alpes, Megève and Serre Chevalier in France,and Colfosco and Cortina d’Ampezzo in Italy.

    There is also the chance to follow in the footsteps of Prince William and Kate on an exclusive two-day snowshoe excursion from Lake Louise to stay in remote Skoki Lodge, a traditional wood cabin in the stunning Canadian Rockies, where the couple stayed during their 2011 Royal Tour of Canada.

    The Inghams programme continues to provide outstanding value for money, with six new All-Inclusive holidays introduced in Kühtai, Austria; Flaine, France; three resorts in Andorra and Lake Louise in Canada. All-Inclusive prices start from £629 per person at Chalet Hotel Elisabeth in Kühtai, including return flights and transfers, seven nights accommodation, daily buffet breakfast, packed lunches, afternoon tea, four-course dinners with wine and coffee included, plus a six-day lift-pass and six days ski and boot-hire.

    Continuing the value for money trend, and building on the success of last winter’s relaunch of its expanded chalet programme, Inghams has also added 27 more chalets and Chalet Hotels to its portfolio,with prices starting from £399 per person at Chalet Hotel Atlanta in Zermatt, Switzerland, including return flights and transfers, seven nights accommodation, daily buffet breakfast, afternoon tea, and five-course dinners with wine and coffee included.

    Packed full of added value offers and money-saving deals, Inghams new programme has Inghams Plussavings of up to £600 per couple, including cash-back offers, hotel early booking discounts and upgrades, half-price lift-passes, free ski-hire at selected resorts as well as savings on beginner and intermediate ski-packs. Inghams guests can also enjoy free après-ski snacks,free sleigh rides, free spa vouchers, or free child supervision in selected hotels.

    Thousands of free child places have been added, as well as free lift-passes for children in selected resorts, One Parent Saver discounts of up to 25% in selected Chalet Hotels, and group discounts giving up to one free place in five, plus a free lift-pass for group leaders.

    Extremely flexible travel options include convenient flights from 21 UK airports and new Swiss Flexi-Stays from three nights upwards, using scheduled flights and Swiss Rail transfers. Skiers can also self-drive to any resort in Europe, or travel by train to France and Switzerland. Additional flights have been added to Chambéry, dramatically cutting transfer times to many French resorts.
