The Great British Summer is in full swing, but while others are booking beach holidays, we can’t help but think about hitting the slopes in the upcoming ski season.

1. Whistler, Canada

3. Val d’Isère, France
One of the more well-known ski resorts, Val d’Isère is the perfect ski resort for families and group ski holidays alike due to its Alpine village atmosphere. The ski area of the resort is huge, and is part of one of the biggest ski areas in the world!
Great for après-ski and thrill seekers, Val d’Isère is renowned for its nightlife. Spend the evening in cosy creperies and traditional French restaurants or dance the night away in one of the resort’s vibrant clubs.

4. Obergurgl, Austria
For the Inghams family, Obergurgl is extra special to us, as it is the first place Walter Ingham brought his guests back in 1934. Our guests have loved this resort ever since, and it is easy to see why! It’s great for all ski levels, has a short transfer and is snow-sure all season.
Many of our guests are return skiers to Obergurgl, as the compactness of the resort means it is easy to meet up with friends on the slopes, at the resort’s popular Nederhütte mountain hut or down in the quaint and snowy village.
5. Selva, Italy
If you love dramatic scenery and stirring mountain views, Selva is the perfect ski resort for lovers of walking and the outdoors as well as keen skiers. Within the famous Dolomiti Superski and at the end of the stunning Gardena valley, Europe’s largest interconnected ski area is sure to make your ski holiday one to remember.

6. Verbier, Switzerland

7. Les Arcs, France
With a great snow record to its name, Les Arcs is a popular resort choice with three impressive villages to choose from. It’s one of the biggest and best lift-linked ski areas with an express cable car providing access to a wealth of ski areas, including 225km of pistes in the adjacent La Plagne.
Most accommodation, such as the renowned Hotel du Golf, have ski-in/ski-out access. Guests can also look forward to the opening of the brand new La Folie Douce in winter 2019/20.
8. Soldeu & Pas De La Casa, Andorra
What were two separate ski areas, have now joined forces to create one huge domain, offering the best value skiing in Europe with a fantastic snow record. Encompassing the entire Pyrenees, Soldeu and Pas de La Casa have slopes as high as 2640m and are perfect for seasoned skiers as well as beginners with a great share of blue runs.
