Arrival at Munich. Transfer to Passau by train and explore this beautiful city and collect your rental bike.
39km – Start your cycle adventure with a river cruise in Passau and then cycle to the famous Danube loop, the Schlögener Schlinge.

50km Cycle to the historic town of Melk (23km) and through the stunning winegrowing region of Wachau, an outstanding example of a riverside landscape. Embark on the Danube ship to Dürnstein (75 min) and continue to Krems, one of Austria’s oldest historic cities and UNESCO World Heritage site (7km).

"Stops in towns and villages were interspersed with long stretches of leisurely cycling, where we'd see swans and geese flying low over the still, morning water and exclaim at the herds of deer grazing in lush pastures."
- Ms Jeannine Williamson, Freelance travel writer
"This cycling holiday was excellent, and the transporting of the luggage was very well organised."
- Mrs Broad
"We spent 6 glorious days cycling and added on a couple of extra nights in the wonderful city of Vienna. The information provided before and during the holiday was very thorough. The maps were excellent, it was great having the additional information in the map pointing out places of interest along the way - we stopped at several monuments, castles etc which enhanced our visit."
- Mr Hewett
