The Baia del Sole Resort is set on Calabria's Tyrrhenian coast, immersed in gardens of lemon and orange groves, prickly pears and paradise flowers. Spend your days your days relaxing on the hotel’s private beach or take a refreshing dip in the pool. On a clear day you can see as far as the Volcanic Aeolian Islands. Enjoy a cool drink from the poolside bar or, if you’re feeling peckish grab a light lunch or snack from the restaurant, which offers fresh dishes made using local produce - some of which is grown in their own kitchen gardens. There is plenty to keep you entertained with lots of sporting activities on offer from tennis and yoga to kayaking and diving (all payable locally). The resort is located between Tropea and Capo Vaticano and has plenty to explore in its nearby vicinity.
In the evening the Terrace Bar is the perfect spot to watch the sun set as it dips behind the volcanic island of Stromboli. After your aperitivo, head to Le Gaire Restaurant for some traditional homemade pasta or freshly caught fish. After a day spent exploring the area or just relaxing in the tranquil natural surroundings, the hotel’s guest rooms provide an oasis for you to rest your head. Some rooms have a light modern style where as others have a more traditional theme with natural wood and earthy tones.
