Nestled close to the heart of Valsugana, the Grand Hotel Imperial is the epitome of palatial luxury on the shores of Lake Levico. Once the home of the Austrian royal family -for whom the surrounding Habsburg park is named- this charming 4* hotel is steeped in history which you can feel come to life even now thanks to its recent restoration works. The interior exudes sophistication and elegance with marble columns and flooring, intricately painted and decorated ceilings with Murano glass chandeliers. The rooms are bright and airy with arched ceilings, gold leaf touches and antique furniture.
There is also an extensive wellness centre to enhance your relaxing and indulgent stay at this exceptional hotel with whirlpools, sauns, steam rooms and massage and beauty treatments available at a local charge. The verdant gardens are home to a terrace and large swimming pool complete with pool bar and waiter service in the summer months.

Just 200 meters from the centre of resort where there are a number of boutiques, museums and art galleries and the public beach which also serves as a boat terminal, there is plenty to see and do from your base at the Grand Hotel Imperial. Levico town is known for its gastronomy with fantastic fish restaurants lining the promenade along with cocktail bars and family run bakeries using local ingredients.

Lake Levico

One of Italy’s cleanest lakes, Blue Flag accredited Lake Levico is an un-spoilt thermal spa resort known for its crystal clear waters. More peaceful and less developed than its glamorous neighbour Garda, Levico has lots to offer. Surrounded by mountains and lush woodlands, Lake Levico is a popular destination for hiking and cycling. From a gentle and shaded walk around the lake to scaling the nearby mountains to visit forts from WWI there are hikes to suit all abilities. Levico is a cycling paradise due to the numerous mountain bike trails in the surrounding hills and mountains as well as the Valsugana cycle path which stretches 80km down the valley towards Bassano del Grappa. The Valsugana cycle path runs alongside a train line and so makes returning home easy. Ideal for guests looking to relax, Levico Terme is a historic, thermal resort and as such offers a chance to rest and recuperate; from mineral filled water, thermal spas and lakeside beaches to the town’s beautiful arboretum.

Inghams operate a telephone Rep service in Lake Levico.

Festival Dell'uva (5 - 9 September)

Detailing the history of the regional viticulture from the ancient times to modern day practice, this is every wine aficionados dream! As well as the chance to sample local wines, there are food markets, live music, theatrical performances and even wine painting stalls to keep you occupied on the shores of Levico.
