Hilton Sorrento Palace is located just a ten-minute walk from the centre of Sorrento and offers a great choice for both couples and families wanting to stay in this popular resort.

The hotel’s extensive grounds boast fantastic views looking out over Sorrento towards Mount Vesuvius and well established lemon and orange groves edge the winding paths where you can enjoy a pleasant walk or relax on one of the terraces. Amongst the gardens you’ll find a children’s playground and tennis courts. The highlight of the hotel though is its series of six connecting pools where you’re sure to find your perfect spot to relax. A poolside bar is on hand for light lunches and drinks during the day. You’ll find a further two restaurants in the hotel and a lounge bar that’s ideal for an aperitivo.

The rooms at Hilton Sorrento Palace offer plenty of space and have been finished in a contemporary style with light colours. Standard rooms overlook the mountain but we’d recommend upgrading to a sea view room for truly spectacular views over the Bay of Naples. You can also opt to stay in an Executive Room on the top floor of the hotel. Guests in these room types have exclusive access to an adult’s only roof terrace with an infinity pool.

Families are well catered for at this hotel. Children will appreciate the large grounds where they can run around and play, and the pool has shallow sections that are perfect for little ones. There’s also a kids’ club where children from three to 12 can take part in organised activities like treasure hunts and water volleyball.

Sorrento is best known for its remarkable views. From its perch on the Sorrentine Peninsula, it peers straight over the Bay of Naples to Mount Vesuvius.

Looking inwards, you’ll find a town with a historic centre of cobbled streets and craft shops. Wander the shady lemon groves of the Museum Correale, catch a concert in the Franciscan Cloisters, or hunt out a bottle of freshly made limoncello liqueur.

Sorrento doubles as an ideal base for day trips along the dramatic Campania coast. Naples, the Amalfi Coast, and the islands of Capri and Ischia are all within easy reach.
