Hotel Caravel is a very elegant hotel that's surrounded by greenery. It's in the lovely village of Sant’Angello, which is just down the cost from Sorrento. This is the perfect retreat for a relaxed holiday. You're away from the hustle and bustle of the bigger resorts of Sorrento and the Amalfi Coast, but still close enough to easily visit them. Sorrento’s historic centre is a five-minute drive from the hotel and there's a free shuttle from 8.40am to 11pm each day.

Our favourite thing about this hotel is its cliff side location. It means you get stunning views over the Bay of Naples - head for the roof terrace for the best views. There's comfy loungers up there so you can stay and chill all day. The pool is nice and peaceful, it's great relaxing here next to the gardens. A poolside bar serves drinks and snacks all day. If you prefer the sea, Marinella beach is just 200 meters away. In the evenings, head to the lobby bar and relax with an aperitivo. The rooms are all decorated in a contemporary style and they're nice and comfy after a day spent sightseeing.

Transfer time: approx. 1 hour by private car from Naples airport.
