Stavanger

Located in the south-western corner of Norway, Stavanger is a small, intimate city with a fascinating history and pleasant harbour front. The quaint cobbled streets and white wooden houses of the old town date back to the 18th century and house ‘Norwegian Canning Museum’ detailing Stavanger’s former importance in the canning industry. The narrow streets are lined with museums, shops and a good selection of restaurants and bars. Outside of the city, the main attractions for this region are cruises to the picturesque Lysefjord, home to the iconic ‘Pulpit Rock’ as well as the lesser known ‘Flor & Fjaere’ island - a paradise for flower lovers - which is simply out of this world!
