Ski holidays in St. Johann for beginners

The nursery slopes are located at the bottom of both the Harschbichl and Eichenhof lifts and St. Johann's friendly ski instructors will ensure your quick progress on St. Johann's picturesque slopes - the ideal place to learn to ski. These two learning areas are on the opposite side of resort and both can be accessed by using the local bus.

Ski holidays in St. Johann for intermediates

Intermediates are bound to enjoy the tree-lined slopes and red runs of the Harschbichl, especially the descent from the Jodalm. A free ski bus means that skiing options can be extended to Steinplatte and Fieberbrunn areas. St. Johann has many fun reds with 43km in total and it is located in the middle of the aforementioned ski resorts meaning it is easy to get around.

Ski holidays in St. Johann for advanced skiers

Advanced skiers will enjoy the black Penzing descent down to Oberndorf as well as the long, steeper decents in Fieberbrunn. There is a black run that is 3.5km long.

Ski holidays in St. Johann for snowboarders

Snowboarders benefit from a snowpark, easy access to slopes and ideal varied terrain. The resort is primarily three different sections and getting between each of them requires crossing fairly flat blue runs, as long as these are avoided snowboarders will be fine. Closest park is over in Steinneplatte.

 Our favourite run

'The 3a/4a run in St Johann, from the top of the Harschbichl mountain down to the Eichenhof base. It is especially nice first thing in the morning, when you can leave your tracks in perfect untouched powder.' (Jodie Perkins, Product Manager Austria)
