Located in the centre of the village, Hotel Böglerhof is Alpbach’s leading hotel. It is lovingly run by the third generation of the Duftner family and has great links to nursery slopes and ski bus stop.

Austrian charm

Dating back to the 15th century, the four star superior hotel is beautifully and traditionally decorated with many original features. Staff are attentive and helpful which adds to the wonderful ambience. Bedrooms are decorated in traditional Alpine styles and most bedrooms have a balcony to take in your magnificent surroundings.

Standards are high with attentive service and award winning cuisine –including a variety of Tyrolean and international dishes in your five course evening meal.

Activity programme

The hotels holds a weekly activity programme which includes everything from snowshoeing, apple strudel baking, to wine tasting in the hotel wine cellar with their certified sommelier. If you fancy some peace and quiet away from the slopes you can pick up a book in the hotel's new library, with plenty of English books to browse.

Sustainability 

Green is everything that the staff at Hotel Böglerhof love and they have gone to great lengths to protect the stunning nature around them. The kitchen uses super-local produce and a conscious selection of ingredients in their dishes. The hotel is powered by solar energy and uses natural materials wherever possible.

Relaxation

You can refresh in the superb ‘Vitaquell Spa’ area, featuring various saunas, steam rooms and relaxation area with panoramic views of the Alps. The heated outdoor and indoor pools are perfect after a day in the snow.

Skiing and snowboarding in Alpbach

Ski Alpbach! This delightful, award-winning, quintessentially traditional Austrian village with its gothic spired church, narrow streets, and minimal traffic is one of the most attractive villages in the Austrian Tyrol. Its traditional wooden farmhouses are set against the backdrop of the Gratlspitz peaks.

A gondola links Inneralpbach with the The Ski Juwel Area, giving beginners and intermediates an even wider selection of runs to choose from.

Non-skiers can enjoy a variety of activities and in the evenings horse-drawn sleigh rides to the Rossmoos Inn for a mulled wine are great fun.

All guests receive the ‘Alpbach Seenland Card’ which gives either free participation or reductions on activities such as snowshoeing, guided cross-country skiing, ice-skating and torchlit walks.

The resort has won awards for being “Austria’s most beautiful village”, and having the “purest air” in the country.

Bars and restaurants in Alpbach

There are a number of quality resort restaurants and mountain bars to try out in Alpbach.

The Böglalm is a great spot for some mulled wine or a hot chocolate. The Wiedersbergerhorn Hütte at the top of the Horn lift is a convenient meeting point to fuel up for lunch.

In resort there is a good variety of restaurants in and around Alpbach. As is typical of Austrian villages, many of them are based in the hotel's bars and restaurants.

Schatzberg Austrian Twins are 28m² with a balcony and a bath. They can sleep up to three people using a single sofa bed.

Sonnjoch Austrian Twins are 40m² and in the new wing of the hotel. They have a balcony and bath and can sleep up to three people using a single sofa bed.

Wiedersberg Single Rooms are 20m² and have a balcony and shower.

The lift doesn't access all floors and there is no access to pool and garden area. The surrounding village of Alpbach is very hilly.
