It doesn't get much better than the Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise with arguably the best setting and view of any hotel located in the Banff National Park.

Lake Views

Each morning you can awake to views of the snowy lake, the dramatic Rocky Mountains and the stunning Victoria Glacier. The luxury hotel is great for everyone but particularly couples looking for that extra special getaway and we highly recommend upgrading to a lake view room.

Location

The hotel is located directly on the shores of Lake Louise. The convenient free shuttle service runs throughout the day providing access to the slopes and the Village.

Dining

The hotel has a great range of restaurants and bars to enjoy, but if you want to dine out a few nights and try some nice local restaurants and bars it couldn't be easier to get around. Back at the hotel there's plenty of things to keep you entertained.

Winter Activities

Enjoy an evening campfire where you can toast marshmallows, take an afternoon off the slopes and try your hand at Bavarian curling, or relax in the spa. Our favourite activity is taking to the frozen lake on a set of ice skates and making the most incredible memories.

Lake Louise

It’s the wilderness around Lake Louise that our guests talk about the most, and really defines the area. Just a handful of shops and hotels made up Lake Louise village, making it perfect for a peaceful getaway.

If you’re looking for lots of mileage on the slopes, this is a great spot to stay as the local area alone has over 4,200 acres of varied terrain spread across four mountain faces– it’s one of the largest in North America. The area is known for its variety, from gentle slopes and long cruisy runs, to glades and some of the Canadian Rockies most thrilling, wide open bowls. From the Top of the World Express chair, the view along the Bow Valley is one of almost unsurpassed grandeur, with an unbroken chain of towering peaks scattered with hanging blue glaciers, and green valley floors. This place is a photographers dream.

The triple area SkiBig3 lift pass covers Lake Louise, and two additional distinctive ski areas (Mount Norquay and Banff Sunshine Village. A regular and free ski bus service, included with your pre-booked lift pass, operates between all three ski areas.
