The Terrasses d'Eos and the Terrasses d'Helios apartments are spread across two buildings and have been tastefully designed and constructed in a Savoyard style. With an excellent position in Flaine, you are close to the resort's lifts and centre.

Great location

The property has an idyllic setting only just a bit back from the bustle of Flaine's centre, surrounded by tranquil pine forests in the Montsoleil area. The apartments are in a ski in/ski out location giving you convenient access to the slopes each day, plus the ski school also conveniently meets at the residence. You can discover a variety of shops, bars, and restaurants in the resort's town, which is only a five-minute walk away, to keep you busy while you aren't on the slopes.

Warm and welcoming

The Montsoleil Terrasses d'Helios Apartments in Flaine provide luxurious apartments. Each apartment has been decorated to a high standard in a typical Savoyard design, integrating wood and stone to create a welcoming ambiance. With a fully equipped kitchen, you can prepare delicious meals in your kitchenette, or you can treat yourself to a meal at the on-site restaurant, which serves delicious French cuisine and is accessible to both guests and residents.

Unwind and relax

After a long day of exploring the slopes, make use of the residence's excellent amenities. The wellness area is the ideal spot to unwind as it has large windows that look out into the Grand Massif. You can soak away any aches and pains in the hot tub or take a plunge in the pool before relaxing in the hammam or sauna. There is also the deep nature spa, where you can treat yourself to a massage or other beauty service for an additional fee. If a day on the slopes hasn't tired you out, keep in shape in the health club, which has a variety of equipment.

Flaine is a mountain resort famed for its monumental outdoor sculptures by artists such as Pablo Picasso and its concrete buildings inspired by the Bauhaus style of the 1960s, many of which house ski-in/ski-out accommodation. It's the only 1960s-era ski resort to be classified a French Historical Monument. Flaine is a really friendly, casual, and family-oriented resort with excellent value and facilities. It has a compact centre with numerous cafes, bars, restaurants, and shops. There are plenty of off-piste activities such as swimming, ice skating and a cultural centre with an art gallery that features the work of local and international artists.

Skiing and snowboarding in Flaine

The majority of the skiing is in a large snow bowl, which offers incredible views of Mont Blanc and superb skiing for all abilities. It's also possible to explore the tree-lined runs leading down to the nearby resorts of Les Carroz, Morillon, Samoens, and Sixt with the Grand Massif Lift Pass. The blue Cascades piste is one of the longest pistes in the Alps, descending down into the historic Haut Savoyard village of Sixt Fer-à-Cheval. For advanced skiers, get the Grandes Platieres bubble and follow the signs to the Diamant Noir run, a demanding and steep black run.

Where to stay in Flaine

We offer a selection of accommodation in Flaine Forum and Foret, many of which have easy access to the slopes, including the stunning Residence at Montsoleil and the unique and stylish Hotel Totem.

Bars and restaurants in Flaine

Flaine has a number of bars and restaurants dotted around, both on and off the mountain. There's a variety of shepherd huts on the mountain serving Savoyard specialities, we recommend sampling the fondue in Le Michet. For an after ski drink head to Le White Pub which often has live music and a variety of beers to choose from.
