These outstanding and highly sought-after luxury apartments constructed in traditional wood and stone are located in the heart of Arc 1950 in Les Arcs, which offers excellent access to the pistes and a good choice of quality restaurants, shops, bars and spa leisure facilities.

Spread across eight buildings 

There are many styles of apartments to choose from - the complex is built in Savoyard style and comprises of eight residences all of which are located close to one another. Each residence building is decorated in a different style, ranging from modern, traditional French alpine and Canadian apartments so you can really choose the atmosphere of accommodation you'd like to stay in. 

Ideal location

These apartments are located in Arc 1950 which is a traffic free village and if there's fresh snow you'll be able to ski from the slopes right through the centre of town. The apartments are conveniently located close to the ski lifts so you can really maximise your time on the mountain. They are also located in the centre of resort, so you can make the most of exploring the bars, restaurants and shops that are nearby.

Great facilities

You'll find plenty of relaxation and wellness spa facilities across Arc 1950 no matter which apartment building you stay in. Most residence buildings have free access to the spa centre which includes an outdoor swimming pool, jacuzzi, sauna and hammam. The Princes des Cimes and Hameau de Glacier buildings only have use of an indoor pool, which is the only one on site, hammam, sauna, jacuzzi and a fitness room - these buildings are connected by an internal walkway. The Chalet des Lys and Manoir Savoie buildings have access to the only outdoor pool with a Mont Blanc view, a jacuzzi, sauna, hammam and fitness room. There is also the public ‘Cinq Mondes Deep Nature spa' and wellness area in Arc 1950 that has an indoor swimming pool as well as massages and beauty treatments at a local charge.

Les Arcs is a purpose built resort so you can find everything you need for a great week skiing. Many of the properties we offer have convenient access to the renowned Paradiski ski area, so you get out and explore the 200km of slopes without any hassle. Les Arcs is made up of four resorts of varying altitude, all self contained with their own restaurants, bars and activities. You can access all of the villages with a shuttle bus running throughout the day.

We have accommodation in three of the villages, take your pick between family friendly Arc 1800 with an activity area comprising of aquatic centre, toboggan runs, fun trail, beginner's area and children's practice area, adding to its popularity with families and beginners. Arc 1950 is a pretty car free village with excellent restaurants, bars, shops and a spa, plus good access to the slopes. Intermediate and advanced skiers will enjoy the fantastic doorstep skiing and close proximity to the Aiguille Rouge Glacier in Arc 2000.

The Les Arcs-Vallandry Ski Area is Europe's first B-Corp-accredited ski resort. B-Corp evaluates a company's impact on the planet and people, and it is given to companies which meet high standards of social and environmental performance, transparency, and responsibility. The goal is to transform the global economy to benefit all individuals, communities, and the environment. As well as being B-Corp accredited, Les Arcs also have two Flocon Vert snowflakes, demonstrating the resorts commitment to environmental preservation, highlighting its dedication to sustainable development.  The resort has done a number of things to achieve these accreditations including using more sustainable fuel in snow groomers and providing a car-free resort, plus all visitors who arrive by rail will also have free access to the funicular. With a new purchasing policy for the resort, almost 90% of its purchases are in the local Rhône--Alpes region. There has also been a focus on regreening the mountain area by planting trees and restoring wetland areas.

Skiing and snowboarding in Les Arcs

Les Arcs is part of the Paradiski Ski Area, offering 200km of slopes across the local area. There are plenty of areas for beginners to practise turns and techniques, intermediates and advanced skiers and snowboarders will enjoy the abundance of well groomed slopes of varying levels, and with the impressive Vanoise Express cable car provides easy access to a further 225km of pistes in neighbouring La Plagne.

The Transarc gondola linking Arc 1800 and Col de la Chal will recieve an upgrade over the summer. The modern and comfortable ten seater cabin will take skiers and borders to Col de la Chal in just 13 minutes - cutting down the ascent in half.  Once at the top a panoramic terrace will give you incredible 360 views of the surrounding snowy peaks. This project will optimise electricity consumption and allow it to generate its own electricity using 600 photovoltaic panels.

Bars and restaurants in Les Arcs

Each of the different resorts in Les Arcs have their own charm but all have a variety of cafes, bars and restaurants. The après scene is vibrant and lively, with live music and DJ sets often found in the bars both on and off the mountain.

Food lovers will enjoy the many authentic restaurants serving delicious Savoyard dishes such as fondue and tartiflette. You can also find a variety of restaurants serving fine French food, tex-mex and pizza.

Apartments can be either standard or superior category with the superior apartments being larger and in more convenient locations.

One bedroom apartments sleep 2-4 people and is around 36m² (A1/A4). One twin or double bedroom and a large lounge with double sofa bed, bathroom and WC.

Superior one bedroom apartments sleep 2-4 people and is around 46m² (B4). These are more spacious and include one double/twin bedroom, lounge with double sofa bed and bathroom with separate WC.

Two bedroom apartments sleep 4-6 people and are around 51m² (A2/C6). There's two bedrooms (double and twin), a double sofa bed in the lounge, bathroom, shower room and two WCs.

Superior two bedroom apartments sleep 4-6 people and are around 62m² (D6). Two bedrooms (a double and twin), double sofa bed in the lounge, bathroom, shower room and two WCs. Some apartments can be a duplex.

 

The following apartments will be allocated in either the Princes des Cimes or Hameau de Glacier buildings, these are connected by an internal walkway and have access to the only indoor pool on the site.

Superior two bedroom apartments sleep 2-6 people and are around 62m² (J6). With two bedrooms (a double and a twin) and living room with double sofa bed, bathroom, shower room and two separate WCs.

 

The following apartments are located in the Manoir Savoie or Chalet des Lys buildings. These have access to the only outdoor pool with Mont Blanc views, fitness room, hot tub, hammam and sauna.

One bedroom apartments sleep 2-4 people and are around 36m² (M2). One bedroom (double or twin) and a living room with a double sofa bed, bathroom and separate WC. 

One bedroom suite apartments sleep 2 people and are 31-36m² (N4). With one bedroom (double or twin) and a living room, bathroom and toilet. This apartment also has a fireplace. These apartments are located in the Chalet des Lys building.

Two bedroom apartments sleep 3-6 people and are 48-57m² (O6). One double bedroom, one twin bedroom, a living room with a double sofa bed, bathroom, shower room and two separate WCs.

The Arc 1950 Apartments are in a central location in the pedestrianised village of Arc 1950 - which is completely ski in/ski out.

They are located close to the slopes and all other amenities with the pedestrian lift to Arc 2000 and the partner ski school (Evolution 2) meeting place and partner ski hire shop are located close by.

From the apartments it is only a five minutes' walk or a quick ski to the Bois de l'Ours, Marmottes and Cabriolet ski lifts.

The Cabriolet Gondola to Arc 2000 also runs late into the evening to enhance your evening options.

Each apartment has a well equipped kitchen and there is a small supermarket onsite, so you can cook from the comfort of your apartment, alternatively there are two on site restaurants to choose from if you don't feel like cooking.
