The Hotel Fahrenheit Seven offers a trendy stay in Val Thorens with its take on vintage modern. It is in a prime location on the piste and walking distance from the local amenities. The hotel has a relaxed atmosphere and unwinding on the terrace after a hard days skiing to take in the views is certainly recommended.

Excellent location

Benefitting from having ski in, ski out access, you can easily reach the lifts in the morning. Click on your skis and head down 50 metres down the nursery slopes, taking you to the ski school meeting place. You then have various options to reach the slopes of the Three Valleys or cruisy blues in Val Thorens. You can take the Funitel Peclet gondola or you can ski down a blue piste to the Plein Sud chairlift, the Caron gondola or Bosimint chair.

Lively and vibrant après

Throughout the winter, the Hotel Fahrenheit Seven hosts après events on their sunny terrace. As the days start getting longer and the weather improves, there are regular 'Sunset Parties' out on the terrace with open-air DJ sets - it is a great way to end a day of exploring the Three Valleys. Throughout the week there is also live music including DJ sets and performers in Le Zinc until 11pm. If you are lucky enough to be away whilst there is the 'Seven Party' you can enjoy exclusive line-ups and dance the night away in Le Zinc, these parties are held once a month and often have a range of performers to keep you entertained.

If you are looking for somewhere a little more laid back, enjoy The Ski Bar which is open every afternoon. Throughout the winter sit back and watch the live sports with a beer or enjoy a game of table football.

Relax and unwind

If you're not the partying kind, unwind in the relaxation area, which features a hammam, a sauna, and an ice fountain. The best way to relax your muscles after a day on the slopes is to partake in a Scandinavian ritual that alternates between hot and cold treatments, such as a soak in a steam room followed by a cooling ice bath. To continue relaxing, head to the La Tisanerie relaxing area, with its beautiful view of the slopes.

At an altitude of 2,300m, Val Thorens is the highest ski resort in Europe and as part of the huge Three Valleys area, it is undoubtedly one of the very best. The resort has been designed to offer doorstep skiing from practically wherever you stay and has a village feel around a compact centre - where car access is restricted. The height of Val Thorens means long hours of sunshine, an unrivalled snow record and great skiing for all grades.

The Vallée des Belleville, including Val Thorens, has received the Flocon Vert label, demonstrating the resort's dedication to environmental preservation and highlighting its dedication to sustainable development. When you arrive in Val Thorens, the best way to get around is by foot, bus, or skis - many of the hotels are in great locations, so the pistes are easily accessible, no matter where you are. To keep the slopes skiable, all snow groomers use a more sustainable fuel and are equipped with a snow coverage gauge device to determine where artificial snow coverage is required. After a day on the slopes, many of the buildings are well insulated to keep the heat in and have smart heating controls to reduce the use of energy. Solar panels are also used to generate renewable electricity.
