Skiing in Lapland for beginners

beginnerskiinginLapland

There will be snow in Lapland!

Skiing in Lapland can be a fantastic experience for beginners - with wide, open slopes, uncrowded lifts and plenty of green and blue runs. It offers those new to this winter activity a safe and easy introductory space to put your new found skills to the test.

Lapland sits across the arctic circle, an area of Finland blanketed in snow most of the year round. Meaning you will have a snow-sure adventure as you head out to try the exciting sport of skiing (or perhaps snowboarding).

What Lapland resort will suit your beginner ski style?

There are 3 main resorts in Lapland, all very similar but slightly varying in what they have to offer depending on your beginner ski level. All resorts though are suited to both beginner skiers and snowboarders and they all provide ski lessons and floodlight slopes for skiing in the dark (during the winter months, Lapland daylight hours are significantly reduced).
