No matter which winter holiday you are travelling on with us, we've got you covered with our Snow Guarantee. Read below to understand what that means for you when travelling with Inghams Ski, Lapland Adventures or Santa Breaks. 

Ski: Snow guarantee

Our expert-selected ski resorts across Europe and Canada are renowned for incredible snow records and are often selected for their high-altitude, enhancing the chances of good quality snow. We offer our skiing holidays during the months that reflect these snowy conditions and have tailored our holidays to reflect our 90 years of travel knowledge to ensure you have the best experience. 

But if there's no Snow? S’no problem! If you’ve booked a package holiday with us – including travel from the UK, accommodation and transport (flights, trains or self-drive) and the resort and ski area you're staying in has less than 25% of their planned ski runs open due to lack of snow, we’ll organise transport to get you to and from a nearby accessible resort that has better skiing conditions for any affected days covered by your lift pass. Worried about losing out on unused lift passes or ski lessons that can’t go ahead? If you’ve booked these through us, we’ll refund you.

Santa Breaks: Snow Guarantee

The weather is an important factor on our Santa’s Breaks holidays; we’re always keeping an eye on the forecast and speaking with our local suppliers. If we have any cause for concern about the weather conditions, we will endeavour to contact you 7 days before your departure to let you know.

If we and our suppliers believe that there’s not enough snow to run the majority of activities included in your Santa Breaks package, we will contact you again 72 hours before travel with an update and advice on the options available to you, which may include cancellation. 

If we decide that there is insufficient snow, we will enact our Santa Breaks Snow Guarantee, and you will have the following choices:

  • You can amend your travel dates to any of our other Santa Breaks dates that are available in the same season and at no additional cost, provided that the elements of the holiday (accommodation, room type, duration and party composition) remain the same.
  • If you change any of the holiday elements, you’ll need to pay the difference in price if it is more expensive, or if the new arrangements are cheaper, you will receive a refund of the difference.
  • If you decide not to travel at all, you can cancel with a full refund of all monies paid to Santa Breaks for the trip.
  • Please note this Snow Guarantee is valid for all Santa Breaks holidays. 


Lapland Adventures: Snow Guarantee

The weather is an important factor on our Lapland Adventure holidays; we’re always keeping an eye on the forecast and speaking with our local suppliers. If we have any cause for concern about the weather conditions, we will endeavour to contact you 7 days before your departure to let you know.

Skiing:
If you are skiing on your holiday and less than 25% of planned runs are open in your resort, then our Ski Snow Guarantee will cover you.

Winter Activities:
If we and our suppliers believe that there’s not enough snow to run the activities you’ve booked on your Lapland Adventure holiday, we will contact you again 72 hours before travel with an update and advice on the options available to you, which may include cancellation.

Ski Snow Guarantee - Terms & Conditions:

  • The Inghams Snow Guarantee covers all of our ski holidays between December 2025 to April 2026 and December 2026 to April 2027, except for where a booking is made within 14 days prior to departure.
  • Our Snow Guarantee is applicable from the arrival day, but we won’t organise transport until your first full ski day.
  • Snow conditions and piste/run availability will be determined using the data published from: Snow report - current snow reports, or if data cannot be obtained from this source, we will use the official resort and area data. No other sources will be used or considered, and we'll use the live conditions on the day of your arrival.
  • If fewer than 25% of planned runs are open in the resort and ski area you are staying in due to lack of snow, we will organise transport to and from a nearby accessible resort that is open, free of charge, for any affected days covered by your lift pass (where local transport is not available and covered by your lift pass). If there isn't an accessible resort that is open to non-resident guests within two hours of your location, we won't be able to run a transport service.
  • If you’ve booked your ski lessons through Inghams, we’ll organise a refund for any ski lessons that can’t go ahead due to the resort being closed once you’ve arrived back in the UK.
  • If you’ve booked your lift passes through Inghams, we’ll do our best to organise replacement passes for the new resort if it isn’t covered by your existing pass. If we’re unable to do so, we’ll organise a refund once you've arrived back in the UK. We'll cover the difference in cost for like-for-like lift passes, but refunds won't be made in the unlikely event that the alternative life pass is cheaper.
  • If you haven’t booked your ski lessons or lift passes through Inghams, we won’t be able to give you a refund, but we’ll do our best to help make alternative arrangements for your new resort and you’ll be able to use our transport services.
  • Where snow conditions and piste/run availability using the above sources are such that less than 25% of planned runs in your booked resort and its ski area are available in the 5 days prior to your departure, and there is no accessible resort that is open to non-resident guests within two hours of your location that we can transport you to, we will contact you to discuss alternative options. This may include a change of resort or departure date to one within the same ski season.
