Just one lift ride takes you above 2,000 metres, where a variety of blue runs await to help you develop your skills and progress with confidence.

Champoluc is a top choice for groups, thanks to the vast Monterosa ski area, scenic mountain restaurants and the Inghams-exclusive ski-in/ski-out Hotel de Champoluc, which is ideal for group getaways. The Monterosa region is one of Italy’s best-kept secrets, and with a 6-day lift pass, you can also explore another resort in the Aosta Valley – perfect for a ski-away day with your group and something arranged by the in-resort team. 

A firm favourite is the duty-free resort of Livigno, offering excellent value and brilliant skiing. Its layout is perfect for all levels, with beginner-friendly lifts right from resort level and more advanced terrain – both on and off-piste – higher up. For freestyle fans, the Mottolino snowpark is a must-visit, having hosted top international competitions.

Also worth adding to your radar is Cervinia. Linked with Zermatt in Switzerland, it boasts high-altitude skiing and wide, well-groomed slopes. Spend your days exploring the mountain, then head to lively après spots like the 'Love Bar'. The fun continues well into the evening, thanks to the resort’s upbeat après scene – great for groups and sociable skiers.

The Olympic ‘Milky Way’ resorts (Sauze d’Oulx and Sestriere) are lively resorts with an active après scene. Sauze’s reputation for offering reasonably priced food and drink is justified and has helped cement its reputation as a popular après destination. Sestriere is home to the Tabata night club, which claims to be one of the biggest and the best that the Alps has to offer!

Over in the Dolomites, Canazei’s nightlife blends traditional Alpine charm with lively late-night energy. After the lifts close, you’ll find buzzing après-ski bars spilling out onto sun terraces, followed by cosy taverns serving local grappa and vin brulé. For those who want to keep the evening going, the resort has lively pubs, cocktail lounges, and a handful of clubs with DJs and dancing into the small hours – making it one of the most vibrant spots in the Dolomites after dark.

Located east of the Sellaronda circuit, Selva is a great choice for beginners and intermediates. The slopes around the Dantercepies and Plan de Gralba areas offer some of the best learning terrain in the region, with wide, well-groomed blue runs perfect for building confidence. The gentle gradients and consistent grooming make Selva an ideal base for developing key skiing skills while enjoying the breath-taking beauty of the Dolomites.

Corvara is another fantastic option for beginners. The slopes around the Col Alt and Boé areas offer some of the finest blue runs in the region with wide runs, immaculately groomed, and ideal for developing technique in a relaxed setting. With plenty of gentle terrain and scenic descents, Corvara makes progressing on skis both enjoyable and inspiring.

New for Winter 2025/26 is Drei Zinnen. Dedicated areas for children and beginners, along with gentle blue runs from the top of almost every lift, make this an ideal place to learn. Best of all, the ski area is peaceful and uncrowded. San Candido is a charming spot for first-timers, while over in Sesto, the larger ski area offers the perfect terrain for progressing to more challenging runs.
