Known affectionately as ‘Pas’, the lively frontier town and mountain pass of Pas de la Casa – with direct links to Grau Roig - is in north-eastern Andorra and close to the French border so there’s a distinctly French ambience in this resort. It’s not only the highest of the Andorran villages, but the entire Pyrenees, with slopes as high as 2640m, and has a correspondingly good snow record!
Skiing and snowboarding in Pas de la Casa
One of the major benefits of skiing and boarding in Andorra is the high standard of tuition and English speaking instructors - and Pas is no exception. The ski schools here are big, friendly and offer lessons for people of all abilities, group tuition or private. The nursery slopes are right in the traffic-free resort centre, offering a combination of easy slope access to build confidence and superb value après-ski for celebrating. Due to it's high altitude, this resort gets great snowfall and usually remains open until the end of April. If you're a snowboarder, you'll love it here too, with access to snow parks, freestyle areas and border cross courses.
Where to stay in Pas de la Casa
We offer a range of 3 and 4 star hotels in Pas that all have their own unique facilities and charm, and all offering a half board basis. The majority of these hotels are located in the centre of resort, with the furthest being only a 2 minute walk out - so you'll always be right in the heart of all the action. They are also all within walking distance of the ski lifts and ski bus stops so accessing the slopes early for maximised time on the mountains couldn't be easier.
Bars and restaurants in Pas de la Casa
Pas de la Casa is at the heart of partying in Andorra and is known as the liveliest of all the resorts - so if après ski is on your agenda, this is the place to be. It has significantly grown over the years and the choice of nightlife has something to suit everyone. Before heading back to your accommodation, ski or board to Coll Blanc, a venue that looks like a UFO has crashed right on the slopes - it's hard to miss! This restaurant has fantastic views of the Grandvalira ski area and by 4pm, the DJs turn it into the liveliest après ski bar on the slopes. If you'd like to keep the party going we'd recommend checking out Billboard, Pas' largest night club hosting nights with big DJs and a VIP area.
