Hotel Les Mélèzes is situated in the heart of Arc 2000and offers great views, as well as some fantastic spa facilities. With such close proximity to the slopes, only 70 metres away, the Hotel Mélèzes offers a convenient and comfortable stay for couples, friends and families looking to stay in Les Arcs.

Unbeatable location 

Located in the centre of Les Arcs you have easy access to the 425km of slopes in the Paradiski Area which are just a short ski or walk away. Given its location, you have fantastic panoramic views of the surrounding mountains including Mont Blanc from the sunny south west facing terrace. Take in the scenic views at breakfast or in the evening, you can enjoy sociable aperitif and watch the sunset over the snowy peaks.

Wellness facilities 

Make the most of the The Aquarelaxant area within the hotel after a day on the slopes. To avoid overcrowding adults have three free entries per week on a reservation only basis, so you can thoroughly relax in the spa. The wellness area has whirlpool baths, a sauna, a steam room and a hydro-massage shower to relieve your muscles after a day on the slopes. Treat yourself to a beauty treatment or massage at the in-house MMV Spa which can be booked for a local fee. 

Family friendly 

Hotel Mélèzes is a great option for children looking to make new friends on your family ski holiday. There are a number of children's clubs run by the hotel for children between 18 months to 17 years, providing all the fun from indoor games, snowball fights and virtual reality headsets. Be sure to register with the hotel on your arrival as spaces can be limited.

Les Arcs is a purpose built resort so you can find everything you need for a great week skiing. Many of the properties we offer have convenient access to the renowned Paradiski ski area, so you get out and explore the 200km of slopes without any hassle. Les Arcs is made up of four resorts of varying altitude, all self contained with their own restaurants, bars and activities. You can access all of the villages with a shuttle bus running throughout the day.

We have accommodation in three of the villages, take your pick between family friendly Arc 1800 with an activity area comprising of aquatic centre, toboggan runs, fun trail, beginner's area and children's practice area, adding to its popularity with families and beginners. Arc 1950 is a pretty car free village with excellent restaurants, bars, shops and a spa, plus good access to the slopes. Intermediate and advanced skiers will enjoy the fantastic doorstep skiing and close proximity to the Aiguille Rouge Glacier in Arc 2000.

The Les Arcs-Vallandry Ski Area is Europe's first B-Corp-accredited ski resort. B-Corp evaluates a company's impact on the planet and people, and it is given to companies which meet high standards of social and environmental performance, transparency, and responsibility. The goal is to transform the global economy to benefit all individuals, communities, and the environment. As well as being B-Corp accredited, Les Arcs also have two Flocon Vert snowflakes, demonstrating the resorts commitment to environmental preservation, highlighting its dedication to sustainable development. The resort has done a number of things to achieve these accreditations including using more sustainable fuel in snow groomers and providing a car-free resort, plus all visitors who arrive by rail will also have free access to the funicular. With a new purchasing policy for the resort, almost 90% of its purchases are in the local Rhône-Alpes region. There has also been a focus on regreening the mountain area by planting trees and restoring wetland areas.

Skiing and snowboarding in Les Arcs

Les Arcs is part of the Paradiski Ski Area, offering 200km of slopes across the local area. There are plenty of areas for beginners to practise turns and techniques, intermediates and advanced skiers and snowboarders will enjoy the abundance of well groomed slopes of varying levels, and with the impressive Vanoise Express cable car provides easy access to a further 225km of pistes in neighbouring La Plagne.

For December 2024, the Transarc gondola linking Arc 1800 and Col de la Chal will recieve an upgrade over the summer. The modern and comfortable ten seater cabin will take skiers and borders to Col de la Chal in just 13 minutes - cutting down the ascent in half. Once at the top a panoramic terrace will give you incredible 360 views of the surrounding snowy peaks. This project will optimise electricity consumption and allow it to generate its own electricity using 600 photovoltaic panels.

Bars and restaurants in Les Arcs

Each of the different resorts in Les Arcs have their own charm but all have a variety of cafes, bars and restaurants. The après scene is vibrant and lively, with live music and DJ sets often found in the bars both on and off the mountain.

Food lovers will enjoy the many authentic restaurants serving delicious Savoyard dishes such as fondue and tartiflette. You can also find a variety of restaurants serving fine French food, tex-mex and pizza.

Rooms

Double Rooms on Half Board are around 20m² and sleep two people. These rooms can take a cot. These are part of a special offer on half board only, on a first come first served basis.

Triple Rooms on Full Board are around 21-24m² and sleep two to three people. This room can be made up as a double and one single bed, or as three single beds. 

Quad Rooms on Full Board are around 24m², sleep two to four people (maximum two adults, two children under 11 years old) with a double bed and bunk beds for two children. Children under 6 years old cannot sleep on the top bunk bed.

Single occupancy rooms are available on request, for a supplement. Rooms must be fully occupied during high season dates (Christmas, New Year, French February school holidays and Easter). In low season rooms maybe allocated according to the number of occupants.

Meals

The hotel offers great value for money as it is on a half board or full board basis.

A buffet continental breakfast with additional hot options is served between 7-9 am. A late breakfast is also served at the bar until 11am.

If you opt for full board when you'll have lunch included too. You'll be able to take a packed lunch with you (pre-booked the day before) or a buffet lunch is served at the hotel between 12-2pm - If the weathers nice you can eat on the terrace.

Après ski snacks including cakes are served from 4:30pm to keep you going until dinner.

Dinner is served in buffet style four course evening meals and is served between 7-9pm. Free water, wine and fruit juices are included and there'll be show cooking -  you can expect a variety of themed and Savoyard speciality menus each evening. Each week there is also a vegetarian buffet, this is usually on a Tuesday. 

Christmas and New Year gala dinners included.
