La Thuile

La Thuile offers excellent skiing, good value for money and relatively few crowds. Linked to the French resort of La Rosière, the combined ski area offers over 150 km of runs. The extensive and varied piste network is suitable for all standards of skier and has a great snow record. The 6 day lift pass offers 2 days’ skiing in nearby ski areas such as Courmayeur, 25 minutes away on the free ski bus and Chamonix. Confident intermediates can book a 3 day ski away package which includes a day in each of La Thuile, Courmayeur and Chamonix. The village of La Thuile has retained much of its centuries-old character, while the Planibel centre boasts a wide range of modern health and leisure facilities. Après-ski is based around the hotels, local bars and several good restaurants.
