Located just 20 minutes outside of Madonna di Campiglio, Pinzolo offers a more laid-back, local atmosphere. Pinzolo boasts its own hidden gem of a ski area before seamlessly connecting to the wider region, making it perfect for those seeking quieter pistes at the beginning or end of the day. The final run back down into the village is a leisurely blue slope, but if you've had your fill of skiing, why not stop for a drink at the top of the gondola station before taking the easy way back down the mountain.

Beginners skiing in Madonna di Campiglio

The wide open nursery slopes up at Campo Carlo Magno offer an enjoyable introduction for beginners who will soon advance to the sweeping descents of the sunny Spinale and Groste areas.

Intermediate skiing in Madonna di Campiglio

The exhilarating 8km Groste piste is ideal, as is the sunny Pradalago area. From here, skiers can link across to the scenic slopes of Marilleva and Folgarida for stunning tree-lined runs.

Advanced skiing in Madonna di Campiglio

Some challenging black pistes include the Spinale diretta, the Amazzonia and the new Nube D' Oro. A must is the famous 3-Tre World Cup run that starts with a steep descent and gets even more demanding through the final wooded section to the village.

Madonna di Campiglio is one of Italy's top snowboarding resorts and host to major international events. Head to the Groste piste area for the snowpark with a half-pipe, kickers and rails, and the boardercross course used for world championship events.
