Ratings/reviewsClick for full ratings

The oldest hotel in St. Gilgen dating back to the 15th century, the Hotel Zur Post is located in a prime spot in the pretty village centre overlooking Mozart Square. Having recently celebrated its 600th birthday, this hotel is lovingly run and full of Austrian charm and character.

Above the entrance a 12 metre fresco from 1618 adorns the house wall, telling a hunting story from that time. Despite its history, careful renovations have been undertaken over the years to preserve the buildings character whilst offering modern comforts.

Guests can enjoy a fine dining experience outside in the evening on Mozart Square terrace. Enjoy a drink from the café amidst shady vines. Other facilities include a leisure area with a sauna and relaxation room overlooking the lake. Bedrooms offer modern living comforts and a nice blend of authentic and traditional designs. Most rooms have balconies for experiencing your pretty surroundings.
