Compliance

Compliance protects the company and its employees

Compliance means adhering to legal requirements and internal company standards of conduct. Compliance rules are designed to protect employees and the company from harm. They form the basis of our daily activities and apply to all employees, including managers and directors.

Our employees are continuously informed about our compliance regulations and receive personal advice upon request. Reports from employees or outsiders regarding possible misconduct, possible violations of the law or criminal offences such as corruption are investigated with great care and treated in confidence. You can contact the DERTOUR Group compliance team by email here.

Code of Conduct for respectful cooperation

Our principles of conduct are characterised by integrity and loyalty: we comply with the law, compete fairly and are a reliable partner for our customers and business partners. As the tourism division of the REWE Group, the group's standards of conduct are decisive for us. These are set out in the REWE Group Code of Conduct and are equally binding for the DERTOUR Group. The Code of Conduct contains principles for our behaviour in business and in our dealings with each other. It provides us with guidance and at the same time is an obligation for everyone who works in the name of the REWE Group.

More information about compliance and the REWE Group Code of Conduct can be found here.

The Hintbox makes it particularly easy to provide compliance information – on request also anonymously. In addition, the new tool enables seamless, data protection-compliant communication between the whistleblower and the responsible individual compliance departments within REWE Group.

However, people who wish to provide compliance information without using the digital tool can continue to contact the REWE Group ombudsman.

Ombudsman of the REWE Group

The REWE Group has appointed the Munich-based lawyer Richard Rill as its external ombudsman. Employees, customers and business partners of the REWE Group and the DERTOUR Group can contact him personally and anonymously if they wish to provide compliance information or are looking for a neutral point of contact who is bound to secrecy. The service is free of charge for the whistle-blower, and contact can be made in German or English.

Complaints about human rights or environmental risks or breaches of duty

Our complaints procedure under the Supply Chain Due Diligence Act (LkSG) guarantees a procedure that is both transparent and based on trust when dealing with complaints about violations of human rights or environmental obligations. Suspected cases of, for example, forced labour, child labour, discrimination or harmful contamination of soil, water and air, as well as harmful noise emissions and excessive water consumption, that are related to the DERTOUR Group can be reported. Complaints can be submitted digitally by employees and outsiders via the DERTOUR Group complaints channel as part of the REWE Group – anonymously if desired.

Customer complaints, for example about the quality of the DERTOUR Group's products and services, are not considered complaints about human rights or environmental risks or breaches of duty. For this, please contact the customer service departments and hotlines.

We expressly encourage employees and external parties to alert us to suspected human rights and environmental risks or breaches of duty. Complainants must not suffer any disadvantage as a result of filing complaints in a professional context. The complaints procedure follows a defined process that is also set out in the rules of procedure. Impartial action is guaranteed at all times, the parties involved in the procedure are not bound by instructions and are bound to secrecy.
