Discover Santa Breaks in Ylläs

Our Ylläs Santa Break holidays offer an unforgettable 3-, 4- or 7-night stay in December, perfect for getting the whole family into the festive spirit in the lead-up to Christmas.

Hidden deep within the snowy wilderness of Finnish Lapland, Ylläs is where Christmas magic feels wonderfully real. Snow blankets the forests, frozen lakes sparkle beneath Arctic skies and cosy cabins glow warmly amongst the trees.

But every child knows there's one person at the heart of it all: Santa. Glide through the winter wonderland on a snowmobile sleigh ride before arriving at Santa's very own log cabin, hidden amongst the trees. Here, one of Santa's friendly Elves will be waiting to welcome you before you and your family enjoy a private meeting with Santa. It's an adventure in itself.

During the rest of your Santa Break, you can choose from a fantastic range of optional Arctic excursions, available to pre-book before you travel. Race through snowy forests on a husky sled, enjoy a peaceful reindeer sleigh ride, head out on a snowmobile adventure or join a Northern Lights hunt to watch nature's most spectacular light show. It's the perfect way to experience the Arctic wilderness beyond Santa's doorstep.

The magic doesn't stop there:

  • Join Santa's Elves for gingerbread baking and festive crafts
  • Race through the snow on toboggans and kick sledges
  • Play traditional Nordic snow games like ‘Mölkky’
  • Warm up beside a crackling fire in a traditional Kota, where hot cocoa is poured and sausages are grilled
