A Santa experience family holiday
A Santa experience for all the family
Christmas is when the magic feels real.
The excitement starts long before Christmas Day. Twinkling lights appear, festive songs fill the air and children begin counting down the days. Letters to Santa are carefully written and proudly posted, while one question is asked again and again... "When is Santa coming?"
Santa Breaks offers something truly special. Not a make-believe Christmas attraction. Not a visit to a Santa in a shopping centre. This is the real thing.
Take your family to the snowy home of Santa, his elves and his reindeer. Watch your children hand-deliver their precious letters and meet Santa himself in the place where Christmas magic comes to life.
Just imagine their faces when you whisk them away to a winter wonderland of sparkling snow, frozen forests and star-filled skies. A place where the festive spirit is everywhere you look, and every moment becomes a memory you'll treasure forever.

A day by the fireplace - Lapland life
Step off the plane and into the Arctic air - it’s fresh, crisp and unmistakably Lapland. No need to worry about the cold; the Inghams team are on hand to help you get wrapped up warm with thermal suits and boots, ready for every snowy adventure that lies ahead.
When you arrive at your accommodation, the magic starts to unfold. Fires crackle, Christmas trees twinkle and the excitement in the room is impossible to miss. As you settle in, little explorers will be busy checking every corner for signs that Santa’s elves might have been there before them.
Then it’s time to discover your new surroundings. Lapland is at its most magical in December, streets sparkle with festive lights, Christmas trees stand tall in town squares and the atmosphere feels undeniably festive. In Levi, traditional Lappish huts line the Christmas market, filled with handmade gifts, warming berry juice and delicious local treats.
Your first day is all about slowing down and soaking it all in. After a morning of exploring, gather around the fire for a cosy afternoon together. Play board games, share stories, sip hot chocolate and watch the world outside your window. If you're lucky, you may even spot a reindeer wandering quietly through the snow. When was the last time that happened outside your living room?
Lapland's traditions are part of what makes it so special. A visit to a traditional Finnish sauna is a must - it's a favourite pastime for locals. And not to mention the perfect way to warm up after a day in the Arctic wilderness.
As evening falls, excitement begins to build, as tomorrow is the day your family will meet Santa. Tuck the children into bed, chatting about what the morning might bring. Then someone glances towards the window, above you, millions of stars shine brightly in the Arctic sky. As if by magic, ribbons of green and purple begin to appear. It's the Northern Lights! A pinch-me moment and the perfect end to your first day in Lapland.
A day with Santa - the Elves' Hideaway
The day has finally arrived. After months of planning, counting down and answering the question "How many sleeps until Santa?", it's time for the moment you've all been waiting for.
Today, you're going to meet Santa!
Wrapped up warm and guided by the Inghams team, you'll follow a snowy trail through the enchanted Lappish forest - until, hidden among the trees, a secret hideaway begins to appear.
The glow from a warming fire lights up the windows and you know you’ve arrived at one very special destination.
Of course, we can't give away all of Santa's secrets. Some things are best discovered for yourself. Just don't forget those all-important letters, ready to hand-deliver when your family enjoys a private meeting with Santa himself.
The day is filled with festive fun for the whole family. Join the elves for games and activities, create your own Christmas decorations, bake gingerbread biscuits and gather around an open fire to roast sausages for lunch. There’s time for tobogganing too, and perhaps even a game of snowy football.
As the day draws to a close, it's time to wave goodbye to the elves and make your way back through the snowy forest. The magic lingers, not just in the twinkling lights or the snowy scenery, but in the smiles that haven't left your little ones' faces all day.
A day of discovery - Excursions
Your final day in Lapland is all about making the most of this magical winter wonderland.
Start the day with an unforgettable husky safari. The eager huskies can hardly wait to set off, and before long you're gliding through snow-covered forests with nothing but the sound of paws racing through the snow.
After warming up with a hot chocolate, it's time to slow the pace. Wrapped beneath a cosy blanket, settle into a reindeer sleigh and enjoy a peaceful journey through the snowy fells. It's the perfect chance to take in the scenery and reflect on the magical memories you've made together.
Following a hearty lunch, why not head for the slopes? Whether you're clipping into skis for the very first time or you're a confident snowboarder, Lapland offers fantastic conditions for all abilities. Wide, beautifully groomed runs, friendly ski schools and quieter slopes make it an ideal place to learn. More experienced skiers or snowboarders will find plenty to explore too.
Then, for one final adventure, hop aboard a snowmobile and head out into the Arctic wilderness. Is this the best way to explore Lapland's spectacular landscapes? We certainly think so. Plus, if conditions are right, you may even spot the Northern Lights dancing overhead.
It's the perfect end to an unforgettable family adventure.
A day to feast - Festive celebration
Sadly, it's almost time to head home. But before you pack away your thermal boots and say goodbye to Lapland, there's one final celebration to enjoy.
Gather together for a Festive Feast and raise a glass to an unforgettable family adventure. Good food, great company and plenty of festive cheer make for the perfect final evening.
The fun doesn't stop there. With music playing and a disco waiting, it's your chance to dance the night away and celebrate everything you've experienced over the last few magical days.
Eventually, tired heads make their way to bed. As you snuggle under the covers, there's just enough time to relive your favourite moments and count how many sleeps remain until Christmas Day.
Not that anyone will be forgetting this Christmas adventure anytime soon.
