Festa del Naviglio
Where: Milan, Italy
When: 1st-10th June 2024
The surrounding streets of the Naviglio canal in Milan turn into a festival for folk music and dance as well as stands featuring artistic handmade crafts. The event concludes with a spectacular torch parade.
Festa della Repubblica
Where: Rome, Italy
When: 2nd June 2024
The Festa della Repubblica, or Republic Day, is a national holiday in Italy. It was created to commemorate the birth of the Italian Republic, with the main celebration taking place in Rome. This is accompanied by a military parade along Fori Imperiali Road, during which a laurel crown is laid down in front of the monument dedicated to the Unknown Soldier, symbolizing all those soldiers killed in the war.
Vienna Summer Night Concert
Where: Vienna, Austria
When: 7th June 2024
Vienna is the perfect setting for unique events such as The Summer Night Concert. Each year, the world-renowned Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra gives a free open-air concert in the gardens behind Schönbrunn Palace. Imagine an enormous stage standing among sculpted flower beds, lawns, and fountains. Lights illuminate the grand Palace and fireworks sparkle across the night sky as one of the world's greatest orchestras plays live.
Rock in Roma
Where: Rome, Italy
When: 8th June - 22nd September 2024
Rock in Roma is a celebration of music that takes place in the Italian capital. The event draws more than 300,000 people from all over Italy and the world, who converge on its ancient streets to listen to global acts perform on huge outdoor stages, arenas, and clubs.
Festa di San Giovanni
Where: Florence, Italy
When: 20th June 2024
The 24th of June is one of the most important days in Florence. Saint John the Baptist, the city's patron, is celebrated with a procession and fireworks. The day begins with people lighting candles and attending mass at Santa Maria de Fiore Cathedral. After another parade, guests are invited to Piazza Santa Croce to watch 54 Florentines play the Renaissance soccer game Calcio Storico in 16th-century costumes.
Flower Festival
Where: Lake Bohinj, Slovenia
When: 24th May-9th June 2024
The International Wild Flower Festival is a collection of botanical tours, events and culinary experiences celebrating the wild plants of Bohinj and the local cuisine. The festival is held annually in May and June at various locations throughout Bohinj, a region of 24 villages spanning more than 300 kilometers.
Donauinselfest
Where: Vienna, Austria
When: 21st - 27th June 2024
The Vienna Danube Island Festival, “Donauinselfest”, is Europe’s largest open-air festival. It takes place at the end of June on the waterfront of the beautiful Blue Danube and attracts thousands of people every year. The festival is free-of-charge and features top-class national and international stars performing on eleven stages.
Ischia Film Festival
Where: Ischia, Italy
When: 29th June - 6th July 2024
The 20th edition of Ischia Film Festival will take place from June 25 to July 2, 2022 on the island of Ischia in the Gulf of Naples. The festival will be held in the evocative spaces of the Aragonese Castle, with outdoor screenings and meetings with film authors.
Fête de la Musique
Where: Chamonix, Morzine, Lake Annecy, France

The Fête de la Musique is a free music festival in France. It's held on the day of the summer solstice and features thousands of free music concerts in parks, public squares, and other venues throughout France. The festival is open to amateur and professional musicians who wish to perform. There is a variety of music for every taste, from solo artists and bands to major institutions such as orchestras, operas, and choirs.
