Historical Venice Regatta

Italy's Venice Historical Regatta is a boat parade that allows you to experience the sights, sounds and excitement of Venice in a whole new way.
This highly anticipated annual event takes place on the first Sunday of September, and combines the spirit of this ancient city with one of its best known traditions - Venetian rowing.
The event begins with a parade of dozens of brightly painted boats, each with its own gondolier in costume. The parade starts near Saint Mark’s Square and travels along the Grand Canal before returning to Ca' Foscari University, where people gather along the canal to cheer and watch the boats pass by.

Bardolino Wine Festival

The Bardolino Wine Festival is an annual celebration, that marks the maturation and distribution of the Bardolino wine, turning the arrival of autumn into a grape affair.

In September, the much-loved Culinary Mile returns to Saas-Fee. Hoteliers and restaurateurs will gather along the main street to showcase food and beverages that have a nostalgic twist. It's an excellent opportunity to experience the unique culture and cuisine of the Valais, with many different menu selections and a variety of local wines to taste.
