Savour The Flavours at Ebenbergalm - Zell Am See
For more than 100 years, the charming Ebenergalm has stood proudly on the green mountains above Zell am See. Run by the Dorn family for generations, this family-run mountain hut is renowned for its homemade specialities. You can find this hidden gem, tucked away from the main walking trails, in a peaceful setting overlooking the stunning Lake Zell. It’s the perfect spot to relax, enjoy delicious food and take in breath-taking views.
How To Get There
If you’re after a short, leisurely walk with panoramic views and a tasty reward, then this trail is for you. The walk from Zell am See to Ebenbergalm only takes 45 minutes. It is a short but steep trail which starts at the Nikolaus Gassner Promenade and leads to a traditional alpine pasture. Once there, you can treat yourself to heart snacks and hot dishes.
Dine in Historic Alpine Charm at Berlinerhütte - Mayrhofen

Step into the Berlinnerhütte and its storied past, where every corner holds a piece of history and a touch of charm. This beautiful haven in the Zillertal Alps has been around since 1879 and has undergone many transformations within that time. It started off as a modest shelter and has since grown into an impressive multi-floor lodging house.
Berlinnerhütte serves delicious meals in a stylish alpine environment. Warm meals and homemade cakes are available from 11am, while dinner service begins around 18.30. You’ll find a variety of tasty dishes from their à la carte menu to satisfy your cravings.
How to Get There
The starting point for the Berlinerhütte is the Alpengasthaus Breitlahner which is easily accessible by public transport. From here, the mountain hut can be reached in about 3 hours on foot. As you step out onto the well-marked trail, you’ll be treated to scenic views of the Zemmgrund and pass by the donkeys and geese of the Klausnalm.
A Cosy Hut With Spectacular Views: Alpenrose - Mayrhofen

This small and traditional hut on Ahorn Mountain offers excellent food, with fantastic views over Mayrhofen. Families can enjoy the playful animal children’s playground, while those with a love for flora can explore the vibrant herb garden. It’s the ultimate spot to relax, savour some local food and take in the stunning vistas of the surrounding mountains.
How To Get There
Walking to the Alpenrose is a piece of (strudel) cake. You can start in Mayrhofen or at the mountain station of the Ahornbahn. Path number 42 will lead you straight there.
