Ratings/reviewsClick for full ratings

Tucked away in an unassuming street just meters from the Piazza Vittorio is the traditional yet sleek Starhotels Metropole. Located in the Repubblica district, this Art Deco property has been created specifically for those wanting to explore the ancient cobbled streets of Rome; the Via Nazionale and Rome Termini train station are just steps away and the Trevi Fountain, Santa Maria Basilica and stunning Teatro dell'Opera are all within 10 minutes walk.  On the Via Nazionale, there is a stunning selection of art galleries, boutiques and restaurants including the famous Ambrosia Rooftop restaurant, a speakeasy with some of the most breathtaking skyline views Rome has to offer.

The Starhotels group is owned by the Fabri family, the focus of whom in each of their hotels is to create a tranquil space within a city which the Metropole achieves with open plan rooms and large, airy lobbies. The neutral colours throughout the hotel are offset with touches of copper, satins and silks bringing a touch of classic glamour. Furniture follows a minimalist yet luxe design with Chesterfield armchairs and cream booths in the foyer, copper tables, Art Deco chandeliers and silk wallpaper in the rooms.

There are two onsite options for dining with the Apicio by Eataly restaurant offering both a Roman menu and a selection of international dishes. And the more relaxed Rendez-Vous restaurant with its extensive cocktail menu and piano bar is the perfect place to rest any weary feet after a superb day exploring the Eternal city.
