From its elevated position above the shores of Lake Garda and close to the centre of Limone, Hotel San Pietro offers good value and comfortable accommodation. The rooms have traditional Italian décor and plenty of space, alongside great views of the lake. Three restaurants, including a poolside grill, mean that there is plenty of choice when it comes to dining. The pools set in lovely gardens and is surrounded by plenty of sun loungers, so you'll have lots of space to relax. 

For those looking to get out and about, the centre of Limone is just fifteen minutes away on foot. Here, you can wander through the cobbled shopping lanes or enjoy a delicious ice cream in the town square where you'll also find the ferry port, perfect for taking a day trip to the neighbouring resorts of Riva and Malcesine

Limone

Limone is one of the best resorts for hiking on Lake Garda. It’s right at the bottom of the mountain and steep, cobbled streets throughout the town lead up to some fantastic viewpoints. There’s nothing better than taking an early morning walk and enjoying uninterrupted views over the lake from your quiet vantage point. For the more serious hikers, there’s around 70 trails to choose from of varying lengths and difficulties. Grab your boots and set of early – don’t forget to take your camera!

If walking isn’t your thing, there’s still plenty of reasons to pick Limone as your base. The town is beautiful with colourful buildings and vibrant lakeside promendade. During the summer the evenings come alive with live music concerts in the square. There’s also regular ferries to other towns so exploring Lake Garda is easy. Limone is filled with traditional restaurants using the lemons that grow all around. Take a visit to Limonaia Del Castel to learn about the town’s history with this citrus fruit.

Verona Opera (evening)

The Verona Opera is definitely one for the bucket list! The season runs from mid June to early September and covers all the classics including Aida by Verdi or Turnadot by Puccini. Whichever performance you choose; you’ll have an incredible evening. We’ve included transport to and from the arena so you won’t have to worry about a thing. Venice Classic (full day)

Spend a day in this rich and indulgent city; known for its spectacular Renaissance architecture, dramatic theatre history, cobbled streets and charming waterways. It’s not to be missed! Our Venice Classic excursion allows you to explore the city with a guide as well as at your own pace. You’ll arrive there by coach and a water taxi transfer is included into the historic centre. You’ll also have the option to add on a gondola ride (payable locally). There’s plenty of time to take in sights of the Basilica, Doge's Palace, St Mark's square and the Rialto bridge in your own time – this is the perfect introduction to one of Italy's most magical cities.

Venice Special (full day)

Extend your day in Venice with this excursion. You’ll spend the day exploring the cobbled lanes and canals. We’ve included a lagoon boat trip that takes around an hour – you’ll get to see the Laguna islands as well as other famous spots and monuments. There is so much to see and do in the city, and with your departure time back to your hotel not until 9pm, you won't be rushed to fit them all in.

Majestic Dolomites (full day)

We think the Dolomites are the most breath-taking part of the Alps and this excursion gives you the chance to embrace mountain life with one of our fantastic tour guides. It starts with a scenic drive through the exceptional South Tyrol, Val di Fiemme, Cavalese and Moena regions. You’ll then stop off at Passa Pordoi and take in the incredible views from this 2,000-metre-high vantage point. Then there’s some free time to explore the terrain at your own pace, either by taking one of the trekking paths or simply enjoying an Aperol at a refugio and taking in the views. A stop off at the chocolate box town of Ortisei is included on the way back to your hotel as well as plenty of stops for photo opportunities in this awe inspiring landscape.

Tour of Lake Garda (half day)

Get ready to explore the best of Lake Garda on this excursion – there’s so much natural beauty and picturesque towns to discover. The hotel's main restaurant is buffet style and is open for breakfast and dinner. The hotels The pool grill is open for lunch and serves panini, burgers, pizza and fresh salad.

The bar is incredibly spacious and opens up onto the gardens so you can enjoy a fresh coffee, cooling iced tea or delightful Aperol Spritz as you watch the world go by. 

Pools

The swimming pool is located in the hotel's gardens and has plenty of sun loungers on which to relax. A further indoor pool has a separate whirlpool and is perfect for relaxing. Pool towels are provided.
