Ratings/reviewsClick for full ratings

Grand Hotel Abasciatori has the best of both worlds when it comes to location. It's on the top of the cliffs with amazing views over the Gulf of Naples and only around a ten-minute walk to the centre of Sorrento.

As soon as you arrive the staff will welcome you with their fantastic, attentive service and you’ll immediately get the feel for this five-star property. There's classic Neapolitan décor everywhere from the light-filled lobby to the rooms that have been finished with hand-painted vietri tiles. All of the rooms have balconies, but if you’d like some of the best views of the sea we can recommend the Deluxe Junior Suite.

The swimming pool is in the hotel's gardens with great sea views. We love relaxing out here with a good book beneath the shade of the palm trees. If you’d prefer a swim in the sea then a lift will take you down to a bathing platform with sun loungers, parasols and access to the sea via steps (open from May to mid October). While you’re enjoying the sunshine you can order drinks from the Poseidon snack bar, which is also a great spot for a relaxed lunch at the water’s edge. There’s two other restaurants including Restaurant Le Muse, with incredible sea views from here and Ambassadors Bellevue, where we’d recommend giving the fresh seafood a try.

Transfer time: approx. 1 hour 10 mins by private car from Naples airport.
