Set among lush, green grounds that are filled with tropical flowers, Bouganville offers a peaceful and relaxing stay at the heart of Forte Village Resort. Traditional style bungalows are dotted throughout the gardens and have been recently refurbished in light colours, each with an elegant patio. Its position close to the bustling piazza and a number of swimming pools and restaurants makes it perfect for both couples and families.

The fantastic facilities at Children’s Wonderland are within walking distance, you’ll find an aquapark here as well as fun activities for children like arts and crafts, Mario’s village – a small square with themed houses, and a theatre where younger guests can enjoy workshops.

Deluxe Bungalows have recently been fully refurbished and offer luxurious amenities and plenty of space. Each has a furnished patio, air conditioning, TV, wifi (payable locally for €10 per day or €40 per week), minibar and safe.

Hotel Bougainville guests can enjoy breakfast on the Oasis Terrace or, for a supplement, at the Bellavista and Cavalieri Restaurants. Dinner can be taken at La Pineta and Forte Grill. You can also choose to dine in other restaurants including the Sardinian, Brazilian and Forte Grill restaurants (reservations are required). The gourmet and à la carte restaurants require reservations and a supplement is payable.

There are many pools at the Forte Village Resort so you’re sure to find one to suit you. Two freshwater pools are located at the centre of the resort, while two family-perfect swimming spots include over 250 metres of adrenaline-inducing waterslides at the Aquapark in Baia del Palme as well as comfy loungers for when you’re ready to relax. There’s also a children’s only pool located at Children’s Wonderland.

Guests staying at Hotel Castello will also be able to enjoy an exclusive beachfront pool that offers a tranquil atmosphere and superb sea views.


Forte Village has an enviable location on the shores of a stunning white-sand beach, which are naturally sheltered by the mountains at the north of the resort making it an ideal location for swimming. The beach slopes gently into the calm, inviting waters making it a pleasant environment for children.

The facilities at the beach are as good as you’d expect from a world-class resort. There’s plenty of watersports on offer from pedaloes to jet skiing, while the sands are lined with comfy sunloungers. And there’s a choice of beachfront restaurants and bars so you don’t have to venture far for that refreshing drink.


The Aquafortre Spa is a member of the ‘Leading Spas of the World’ and is based around the healing properties of minerally rich seawater. A series of Thalasso pools are located amongst lush Mediterranean gardens and there’s an Ayurvedic Park that’s dedicated to spiritual well-being. As well as a range of beauty treatments, massages and facials, the spa also boasts a medical centre, clinic and physiotherapy treatments.

You’ll be spoilt for choice with up to 21 restaurants at the Forte Village Resort (open seasonally). Choose from fine-dining options overseen by celebrity chefs to cosy trattorias offering local specialties.

For an unforgettable meal overlooking Sardinia’s crystal-clear waters, try the Beachcomber Restaurant or the Fish Market, which offer fresh seafood dishes. Or, for more casual dining, head to the pizzeria for traditional pizzas cooked in a wood-fired oven or one of the resort’s buffet restaurants where you’ll find a sublime choice of worldwide cuisine and themed evenings.


With 14 bars, you’re favourite tipple is never far away at Forte Village. From professionally-made cocktails with a beachside location (you can even ask a mixologist to create your own personal cocktail based on your tastes), to elegant bars playing live music, there’s something to suit everyone.

The evening entertainment here takes place at Piazza Maria Luigia, which is at the heart of the resort. As well as being surrounded by exclusive boutiques, you’ll find lively restaurants and bars, and a stage where professional shows are put on for the whole family. There’s even a disco and late night Mahiki nightclub for those that want to continue the party.

Family Facilities


This expansive space boasts a huge array of things to do for children of all ages. There’s two pools with shallow water so little ones can play safely – parents can watch comfortably from the edge of the pool that’s lined with sun loungers. Activities take place daily and include creative workshops like cooking and clay modelling that are sure to bring out your child’s imaginative side. There's also Barbie Activity Centre and Mario’s Village with themed buildings including shops, a fire station and cinema.


Leisureland at Forte Village Resort is the perfect place for the young and young at heart. You’ll find a bowling alley as well as a disco where DJs and bands play every evening. Adrenaline seekers should head to the go-kart track that runs for half a kilometre in a series of twists and turns. There’s even a go-karting academy for those who want to hone their skills further.


Forte Village Resort has a fantastic choice of sports to suit all tastes. There’s 12 tennis courts, a regulation-size basketball court, three 5-a-side football pitches as well as a standard size pitch that’s hosted games including Inter Milan v Roma. There’s also a 27-hole championship golf course at Is Molas, a short drive from the resort.

Sports academies are also run throughout the summer with dedicated weeks for children to sign up and learn skills for their favourite sports with professionals. A favourite is the Chelsea Football Academy where children aged 4-14 years can train with former players. The academies include football, rugby, tennis, swimming, cycling, basketball, netball, boxing, water polo, dance, chess and magic.
