Champoluc is located in a large, sunny valley deep in the glorious mountains of Monte Rosa overlooked by the stunning glacier at the far end of the valley. Champoluc is part of the Ayas valley which is studded with dramatic 4,000m peaks, crowned by the Monte Rosa Mountain and also the dramatic Matterhorn. Linked to the neighbouring valleys of Gressoney & Alagna, Champoluc is over 1,500m above sea level. A pretty village that offers a range of local intimate bars and restaurants. The region has over 200kms of marked walks for all levels of walkers, as well as a host of historical churches, settlements and castles to visit. One of the highlights of your holiday in Champoluc is the locally produced regional food and wine, best enjoyed on the terrace of one of the mountain huts overlooking some of the most amazing views seen in the Italian Alps.
