About Boutique Hotel La Rocca

Set on a hillside above Lake Maggiore, Boutique Hotel La Rocca gives you brilliant views across the lake to the Brissago Islands and mountains beyond. It’s in the quiet village of Ronco sopra Ascona, just a 10-minute drive from Ascona, with plenty of scenic walking routes and the beautiful Ticino countryside right on your doorstep. And with the Ticino Ticket included, you can hop on public transport for free and discover more of the region without needing to worry about driving.

After a day out exploring, the hotel is a lovely place to slow things down. Take a dip at the lakeside lido, around 10 minutes from the hotel, or find a spot to sit back and enjoy the sunshine and those all-important lake views. There’s also a restaurant serving up tasty Mediterranean dishes, with panoramic views that make dinner feel like a special occasion - especially when the sun starts to set.

The rooms are comfortable and simply styled, with Lake Maggiore views and many with a balcony or terrace.  Add in the peaceful setting, beautiful scenery and plenty to explore nearby, and you’ve got a pretty good spot to settle into Ticino.
