The Bellavista Relax hotel is in a beautiful location close to Levico Terme's pedestrian district and just a ten-minute stroll from the indigo waters of Lake Levico. Surrounded by the Terentino Mountains, the hotel's Habsburg style façade stands out. The Galvan familyand their team run it – they’ll be there to welcome you as soon as you arrive. Whether you're after an active holiday exploring Trentino, hiking in the Dolomites, biking, kayaking and paddle boarding, or, you're here to truly relax, making use of the hotels spa, the beautiful natural surroundings and the lakeside beaches, you'll find the Bellavista Relax hotel is a fantastic base.

The renowned spa town Levico Terme is real draw for people coming here, as are the hotels own wellness facilities. There's an open air whirlpool, heated outdoor swimming pool, sauna, Turkish bath and sensory showers which are all included in the price. Sun loungers and parasols surround the heated pool, providing the perfect spot to top up your tan and enjoy the phenomenal mountain views. We loved coming here in the early evening when it's all lit up.  There's even an underwater sound system so you can enjoy classical music while you swim.

There's a great choice of rooms - they're all nice and spacious and have that traditional Italian feel. If you can, upgrade to a Superior or Premium room for the best views of the mountains or out towards the lake. When you come down for breakfast, you'll find a buffet laid out and waiting for you, with a great selection - we couldn't resist the home made pastries! By dinnertime you'll have hopefully worked up an appetite, because the half-board offering includes four delicious courses. They try to source as many of the fresh ingredients as they can locally, and it’s all home-made, including the deserts - so save some room!

When you want to explore the town centre, it's just 300 metres from the hotel. We loved wandering around the little boutique shops, stopping at artisan cafes and visiting the stunning church. You'll find local buses that run to Lake Caldonazzo and Lake Lavarone from here, too.

Transfer time: approx. 1 hour 20 mins by coach from Verona airport.

Lake Levico

Lake Levico holidays are packed full of things to see and do. The lake’s renowned for its beautifully clear water - it’s Blue Flag accredited, so it’s hard to resist going straight in for a dip as soon as you arrive. The historic thermal spa town, Levico Terme, is a short stroll from the lake shore – in the summer the pedestrianised streets are filled with flowers. The surrounding mountains and lush woodland make it a popular destination for walking and cycling. You can spend your days here chilling by the lake, relaxing in the thermal spas or out on an adventure in the Lagorai Mountains.

What to see on a Lake Levico holiday

It’s easy to make the most of your time here on the lake – especially as most of our hotels offer guests a free Trentino card. It gives you access to free local public transport and discounts on all kinds of activities and excursions like wine tasting, mushroom foraging and bike tours.

Head into nature where you’ll be able to find your very own tranquil oasis hidden between the pine-forested hills of Lake Levico. When you are not out walking, cycling or trying your hand at some water sports the towns thermal spas are the place to relax and ease any aches and pains.

Why book a Lake Levico holiday with Inghams

Lake Levico is one of the smaller lakes in the Italian Lake District, but equally delivers on beautiful scenery and things to see and do. It’s not on everyone’s radar and that’s one of the reasons why we love coming here. We’ve selected great quality hotels in some of the best locations on the lake, which mean that you can make the most of your time away. And when you book with Inghams, your holiday is in safe hands.

Pools and Beaches

Bellavista Relax has a gorgeous heated outdoor pool - the temperatures kept to 28 degrees, so whatever the weather it's nice for a swim! It even has underwater lighting and music making those evening dips pretty special. The view from here is a real draw, you can see across to Lake Levico and the beautiful mountains that surround it. There's plenty of sun loungers and parasols dotted around the pool and in the garden, so you can sit back and enjoy unrivalled views over the valley. There's an open air whirlpool in the gardens too - it's a lovely place to watch the sunset over the distant mountains, with a glass of Aperol in hand. Pool towels are available free of charge.

The pool is open from 3 - 7.30pm in the summer months.

For those who want to take a dip in the cool, clear waters of Lake Levico itself, you won't be stuck for choice. There are plenty of beaches along the shorefront. We loved watching people swing and splash into the lake from the liana that hang from some of the trees at the shore - you can do it too if you're feeling adventurous!

Renowned for being a spa hotel and for good reason, the Bellavista Relax offers lots of spa treatments, each designed to engage and relax the senses. There are three types of sauna including a traditional sauna, salt sauna designed to increase blood flow and detoxify the skin and a Turkish bath, which helps reduce stress, purifies the skin and can even help ease respiratory conditions.  Emotional sensory showers are designed to sooth body and soul with scented steam and temperature controlled thermal waters to cleanse the skin. You'll have to see for yourself.

You'll be provided with a starter pack for the spa on arrival, but any additional treatments are payable locally.

Explore the mountain paths and forest roads around Levico Tereme or even venture into the nearby Dolomites. There's lots of opportunity for walking and hiking as well as cycling - you can hire bikes, including e-bikes, from the hotel (payable locally).
