The Bellavista Relax hotel is in a beautiful location close to Levico Terme's pedestrian district and just a ten minute stroll from the indigo waters of Lake Levico. Surrounded by the Terentino mountains, the hotel's Habsburg style façade stands out. Its run by the Galvan family, who's team will be there to welcome you as soon as you arrive. Whether you're after an active holiday exploring Terentino, hiking in the Dolomites, biking, kayaking and paddle boarding, or, you're here to truly relax, making use of the hotels spa, the beautiful natural surroundings and the the lakeside beaches, you'l find the Bellavista Relax hotel is a fantastic base.

The renowned spa town Levico Therme is real draw for people coming here, as are the hotel's own wellness facilities. There's an open air whirlpool, heated outdoor swimming pool, sauna, Turkish bath and sensory showers which are all included in the price. The heated pool has phenomenal mountain views and is surrounded by sun loungers and parasols, providing the perfect spot to top up your tan. We loved coming here in the early evening, its all lit up and there's even an underwater sound system so you can enjoy classical music while you swim.

There's a great choice of rooms - they're all nice and spacious and have that traditional Italian feel. If you can, upgrade to a Superior or Premium room for the best views of the mountains or out towards the lake. When you come down for breakfast you'll find a buffet laid out and waiting for you, with a great selection - we couldn't resist the home made pastries! By dinner time you'll have hopefully worked up an appetite, because the half-board offering includes four delicious courses. They try to source as many of the fresh ingredients as they can locally, and its all home-made, including the deserts - so save some room!

When you want to explore the town centre it's just 300 metres from the hotel. We loved wandering around the little boutique shops, stopping at artisan cafes and visiting the stunning church. You'll find local buses that run to Lake Caldonazzo and Lake Lavarone from here, too.

Transfer time: approx. 1 hour 20 mins by coach from Verona airport.

Lake Levico

Find your very own tranquil oasis hidden between pine forested hills of Lake Levico. The lake’s renowned for its beautifully clear water - it’s Blue Flag accredited, so it’s hard to resist going straight in for a dip as soon as you arrive. The main town Levico Terme’s a short stroll from the lake shore – it’s a beautiful thermal spa town filled with rustic eateries. The mountains and lush woodland make it a popular destination for hiking and cycling too. There’s gentle shaded routes around the lake or you can take more adventurous trails into the mountains, where you’ll find historic World War I forts. The Valsugana cycle path, known as “La via del Brenta”, is another draw for long distance cyclists, it stretches 80 kilometres down the valley towards Bassano del Grappa and a railway line runs alongside it so you can just hop on a train to get back. It’s the ideal destination if you’re looking for an active break, if  you want to rest and recuperate and even better if you want to combine a bit of both!

Pools and Beaches

Bellavista Relax has a gorgeous outdoor heated pool - the temperature's kept to 28 degrees, so whatever the weather it's nice for a swim! It even has underwater lighting and music making those evening dips pretty special. The view from here is a real draw, you can see across to Lake Levico and the beautiful mountains that surround it. There's plenty of sun loungers and parasols dotted around the pool and in the garden, so you can sit back and enjoy unrivaled views over the valley. There's an open air whirlpool in the gardens too - it's a lovely place to watch the sunset over the distant mountains, with a glass of Aperol in hand.

The pool is open from 3 - 7.30pm in the summer months.

For those who want to take a dip in the cool, crystal clear waters of Lake Levico itself, you won't be stuck for choice. There are plenty of beaches along the shore front. We loved watching people swing and splash into the lake from the liana that hang from some of the trees at the shore - you can do it you if you're feeling adventurous!

Renowned for being a spa hotel and for good reason, the Bellavista Relax offers lots of spa treatments, each designed to engage and relax the senses. There are three types of sauna including a traditional sauna, salt sauna designed to increase blood flow and detoxify the skin and a Turkish bath which helps reduce stress, purifies the skin and can even help ease respiratory conditions.  Emotional sensory showers are designed to sooth body and soul with scented steam and temperature controlled thermal waters to cleanse the skin. You'll have to see for yourself.

You'll be provided with a starter pack for the spa on arrival, but any additional treatments are payable locally.
