Aeolian Islands

The Aeolian Islands are a volcanic archipelago off the north-east coast of Sicily. Each of these seven islands have a character of their own.

Lipari, the relaxed capital of the Aeolians, comes with a lovely tight-knit old town. Salina is a treat for food and wine lovers, thanks to the seafood restaurants and Malvasia vineyards. Whitewashed churches perch on the cliffs on pocket-sized Panarea. And Stromboli is carved from a single smoking volcano.

Boats shuttle foodies, hikers and scuba divers between these stunning islands – and Sicily is less than an hour away by ferry.

Restaurants & Bars

Il Cappero Restaurant boasts a Michelin Star and a stunning seaside terrace from where you can enjoy a wonderful meal. The menu offers an innovative take on fresh, Sicilian ingredients and changes seasonally. Reservations are required.

L’Archipelago Restaurant offers lunch and dinner on a lovely terrace overlooking the sea. Sicilian dishes are accompanied by a large choice of local and international drinks.

I Grusoni Restaurant is the perfect spot for a casual, poolside lunch or laid back dinner (high season only). Enjoy fresh seafood, salads, pizza and sandwiches in a lovely setting surrounded by exotic plants and wild flowers.

I Russuri Bar is an outdoor bar located close to the infinity pool and offers a wide choice of drinks and apertifs. Russuri is the Sicilian word for sunset, and the bar boasts the best place on the island to watch the sun set down over the ocean.

Pool & Beach

Therasia Resort has two infinity pools that blend seamlessly with the sea and enjoy views over the other Aeolian Islands, with plenty of soft sun loungers on which to relax. The hotel offers direct access to the sea from its bathing platform. There are also plenty of sandy beaches throughout the small island.
