Walking holidays in Austria

Walking holidays in Austria are as diverse as the landscapes. Go big and tackle a section of the challenging 413km Adlerweg (Golden Eagle Walk) which stretches from St. Anton in the west to St. Johann in the east. Or catch the Wiedersbergerhorn gondola to the slopes above the chocolate-box village of Alpbach and explore the Kitzbüheler Alps.

For a real challenge, head to Mayrhofen and try the 25km hike up the Zemmgrund valley and back. For a more laid-back holiday, enjoy gentle rambles in the Wildschönau Valley or lakeside ambles in the Salzkammergut. There’s plenty of choice with Inghams Summer.

  • More choice. New experiences. That's a real breath of fresh air
  • Destinations in depth – nobody knows them better
  • Award-winning service and 24/7 support on holiday
  • All at your own pace. Do as much (or as little) as you'd like
