Travelling via Lille

Board at London St Pancras. Scan your ticket (London St Pancras to Lille Europe) at the gate and go through passport and baggage controls. Your luggage stays with you - the carriages can store bags.
.

Arrive at Lille Europe. Now it's time to join your connecting Eurostar service to either Moutiers, Aime La-Plagne or Bourg-Saint-Maurice. The platform won't be far away - just check the departure boards once you get there. It's usually on the adjacent platform.

On to your resort. Sit back and make the most of the Eurostar's comfy seats, free Wi-Fi and Eurostar Cafe as you're whisked to the Alps. You'll slight at Moutiers, Aime La-Plagne, or Bourg-Saint-Maurice (depending on where you've booked).

Meet the Inghams team. You've arrived at your final stop - now transfer to your resort. You'll be met by the Inghams team (except for Aime where you'll be met by our driver) and join a short coach journey, depending on which resort you're going to.

Travelling via Paris

Board at London St Pancras. Scan your ticket (London St Pancras to Paris Gare du Nord) at the gate and go through passport and baggage controls. Your luggage stays with you - the carriages can store bags.

Transfer in Paris. There's plenty of time to take the RER line D to Gare de Lyon - it's just two stops. First, buy a Metro-Train-RER ticket (€2-3 per person). Even easier, while onboard the Eurostar, head to the café and buy a Navigo Easy card (€2). Or use your Apple Wallet or Google Wallet to buy Paris Metro tickets via the Bonjour RATP app.

Take the high-speed TGV train. Board from Gare de Lyon, some Journeys may go direct to your final arrival point, others may require further regional trains to get to your destination.

Transfer to your resort. For Switzerland you will enter via either Geneva, Zurich, Basel or Lausanne. From there you will transfer to your final resort by rail on the Swiss Rail network. All tickets will be provided. For all other countries, when you arrive at your final station you will be met by a driver who will transfer you to your chosen hotel.

Train travel FAQ's

Eurostar Snow Trains / Seasonal services: Skis are also allowed and follow the same rules. Storage is normally in the designated oversized luggage racks, again typically at carriage ends. If this is not available, you can pop your skis in the overhead compartments.

Eurostar doesn’t have set weight limits or liquid restrictions (excluding some on alcohol), but guests must be able to carry their own bags. Eurostar Standard and Eurostar Plus tickets allow two large bags and one small item.

Eurostar recommends arriving at least 60–90 minutes before the train leaves, especially at busy times such as weekends and holidays.

No — passport and security checks happen only at departure, usually London St Pancras. Lille is simply the transfer point.

No, there aren't any Inghams Destinations Experts during the train journey. Don't worry, though - the UK Duty office (and the in-resort Destination experts) are available over the phone for support.

Seat reservations are provided on all trains. If you have any specific seating requirements, just let us know at the time of booking.

We design our rail packages with the most direct routes in mind. But if you've seen what we've offered as standard and still want to change your train times, please get in touch with us - our Sales team will be happy to assist.

We always make sure that there's a comfortable connection time between trains.
